The Cutrer Mansion in Clarksdale, the King Edward Hotel in Jackson, the L.Q.C. Lamar House in Oxford, the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center in Ocean Springs and the Tippah County Jail in Ripley are all “graduates” of the list, providing inspiring examples of what can happen when communities come together with a spirit of cooperation and a vision for the future. Please make plans to join us at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22 at the Lowry House in Jackson for the announcement of the 10th list of the 10 Most Endangered Historic Places in Mississippi for 2016. There will be great food, drink and music, and a chance to save the places that matter to Mississippi. Sign up to be a member of the Preservation 100 for $100 to receive one ticket to the event and to be listed on program materials for the October 22 event.
