LOUIS 30 LOCATIONS 273 SCREENS Riverview 14 GDX, Greater Tampa Even though a newcomer to Florida, Goodrich Quality Theaters has approval from Hillsborough County, FL for construction of a 66,000 sq. ft. 14-screen state-of-the-art multiplex in Riverview, Florida. The Riverview 14 GDX multiplex will be located at the southwest corner of I-75 and Gibsonton Drive. The theater is being developed by Anthony Properties, Dallas, TX and Goodrich Quality Theaters, Grand Rapids, MI. The multiplex was designed by Paradigm Design, Grand Rapids, MI. Goodrich’s Riverview 14 will feature “GDX” (Giant Digital eXperience). The two GDX large format auditoriums will have 70-foot-wide screens with floor-to-ceiling viewing. The multiplex will have 4K digital projection in its GDX theaters and will feature recliners from Telescopic Seating Systems in all 14 auditoriums. Riverview 14 GDX will have amazing Dolby Atmos sound systems in all theaters as well as reserved seating in the 14 auditoriums. A spacious lobby will feature multiple box offices, self-serve ticket counters, multiple selling stations at the concession stand and self-serve drink refill stations. The Screen Pub bar and restaurant with an outside patio and separate exterior entrance make “dinner and a movie” easy for moviegoers. May 2016 is the target for opening. Riverview 14 GDX Tampa, FL DETROIT Telescopic Seating Chairs: Rockers and Savoy VIP TSS Recliner Seating Locations in 2015 TSS recliners will be installed in Port Huron, MI and Oswego, IL (Chicago). Moviegoers can effortlessly recline to their desired angle of back and leg support with electronic controls. New Lobby at Quality 16 - Ann Arbor Telescopic Seating Systems’ Savoy Rocker chairs will have 42” high backs and 23” wide seats. These attractive and dependable chairs are now in multiple megaplexes. The TSS Recliner will be installed in an auditorium each at Savoy 16 IMAX, Champaign IL and Holland 7 in Holland, MI. During Fall of 2015, Goodrich will re-seat all auditoriums with recliner seating at Kendall 10 in Oswego, IL and Krafft 8 in Port Huron, MI. Willow Knolls 14 in Peoria, IL has installed TSS’ Savoy Rocker Plus seating in an auditorium, thereby giving customers extra wide armrests. The lobby and concessions stand at Ann Arbor’s Quality 16 were remodeled with new layouts and color schemes in January 2015. New digital menu boards are on the Cinema Scene network. In addition to the new lobby, new carpeting and wall fabric in hallways and all auditoriums were replaced. Aisle lighting was updated to Tempo and replaced restroom counters. 4K Digital Projection at Bay City 10 and Quality 10 GDX Two screens at Bay City 10 and the GDX screen at Quality 10 GDX and soon the Riverview 14 GDX screen feature 4K digital projection. 4K gives moviegoers an amazing, brighter picture with vivid colors and the sharpest resolution possible on theater screens. Digital Menu Boards by Cinema Scene Goodrich and Cinema Scene are in the process of concluding the installation of Digital Menu Boards at our concession stands. The entire company will be completed by December 1st. In the future we will program quick 8 second menu takeovers with animated movie content. Reserved Seating at IMAX and GDX Customers may reserve their specific seats online or with customer facing displays at the box office or kiosk for the GDX auditorium at Quality 10 in Saginaw or for the IMAX auditoriums at Portage 16 IMAX, Hamilton 16 IMAX, Savoy 16 IMAX, or Randall 15 IMAX. A New Lobby Bar in the Hamilton 16 IMAX The Screen Tap bar was designed by Paradigm Design of Grand Rapids, MI. The Screen Tap bar serves 8 drafts and 15 different bottled beers. It also has two red wine and two white wine selections. Mobile App Plans for launching a Goodrich Quality Theaters mobile app is expected by mid-summer of 2015. Customers will be able to download the app from the Apple or Android stores. Customers will easily be able to see showtimes at their favorite theater, buy tickets, log-in to their loyalty account and check balances and current offers and promotions. Goodrich buys one of America’s oldest Drive-ins Goodrich purchased The Huntington Twin Drive-in theater in Huntington, IN. In 2015, the Drive-in celebrates its 65th Anniversary. It will be converted from film presentation to 4K digital projection. Bob Goodrich is not unaccustomed to drive-ins. In 1969 he purchased his first drive-in theater in Big Rapids, Michigan followed by three more drive-in purchases. Goodrich operated drive-ins for over 15 years, selling its last one in 1985. The team brought back great insights for initiatives we can implement in our Vista POS software. FMG members have always earned points when purchasing tickets. Now they can also earn points when purchasing concession items. For every dollar spent, members will earn 100 points. Goodrich has expanded the items available for point redemption and we have added free popcorn offers for members’ birthdays and membership anniversaries. Custom personalized moviegoer email campaigns are now possible with Movio. Movio is a loyalty marketing tool that integrates with Vista, Goodrich’s point of sale (POS) software. Reed and Brian presented a $79,000 check toward the purchase of two high frequency oscillatory infants ventilators. Annually, Goodrich partners with Will Rogers Institute to raise funds for the Neonatal Equipment Fund which awards grants to health care organizations to assist with equipment purchases. 2014 Theater Events and #SocialMediaPromotions Scholarship awarded to Goodrich Employee in 2014 Congratulations to Brett Woodard for winning a $1,000 scholarship from Theater Owners of Indiana (TOI) in 2014. Brett is a shift manager at the Lebanon 7 theater, Lebanon, IN. He has worked there since December of 2011. Brett is pursuing his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice at Lafayette Ivy Tech and plans to become a Conservation Officer. Each year Goodrich employees are encouraged to apply for the college scholarships offered by NATO of Michigan, Theater Owners of Indiana (TOI) and NATO of Illinois. TOI offers three $1,000 scholarships, NATO of Michigan offers three $2500 scholarships and NATO of Illinois offers one $1,500 and two $750 scholarships. Manager wins the ‘IME’ CinemaCon trip to Vegas Jeri Bowman, manager of Wabash Landing 9 in West Lafayette, IN won the Vegas Wild Card - Cash for Ideas through Dan Klusman’s Independent Marketing Edge (IME) Newsletter. Jeri attended CinemaCon this April and enjoyed Pitch Perfect 2, Spy and Inside Out along with many studios’ product presentations.
