The town of Naro is situated among the hills at 600 meters above sea level. The ruins of the Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Arabic, Norman, and

Calogero, the medieval church of Santa Caterina, and its catacombs of mummies. After our tour, we will relax at the Agriturismo, Casale

Come with ITT to shop on the other side of Mt. Etna in the town of Randazzo. We’ll shop in a flea market with a variety of clothing, shoes,
local fresh cheeses and salamis. While it is similar to the Catania market in some ways, Randazzo offers a taste of the small mountain town
atmosphere. After shopping, we’ll go for lunch and a wine tasting at the Patria Winery located in the famous Alcantara Valley, of Mt. Etna.
Many wines from this region are labeled with the Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC).

Bring your family for an active day of fun with Outdoor Recreation.
Snowshoeing provides a unique experience for exploring Mt. Etna, the
biggest and most active European Volcanoes. This trip is an easy to
medium level intensity; however, children that attend must be
comfortable walking/snowshoeing for 1-2 hours at a time. Make sure to
dress in layers; you’ll warm up while you’re snowshoeing but cool down
once we stop for breaks. Bring a backpack with plenty of water, snacks,
and lunch because snowshoeing makes you hungry! We recommend you
and your family wear at least one waterproof layer on the outside and
non-cotton or quick drying clothing underneath. Waterproof boots are
recommended for this trip. *Please inquire with Outdoor Recreation if
you need to rent a waterproof jacket, pants or a children’s snowsuit.*

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the kids at the Outdoor Recreation Rock
wall located in the NAS I Gym inside Midtown. Have the kids wear their
brightest green outfit while climbing the wall in search of green candy!
We’ll also have someone on hand to add paint the kids’ faces with green
shamrocks and lucky pots of gold! The fun will last from four to six in the
afternoon on St. Patrick’s Day so make sure to join us in the Climbing
Gym. *No climbing certification will be needed for this event as ODR
staff will be there to safely belay the children on the climbing wall.*

We’re off to Taormina, known for its spectacular views of Mt. Etna

Taormina for some free time to spend shopping or having that
well-earned dinner.

Join Outdoor Recreation for a mountain bike ride on one of our many
