A Hybrid Harness Specifically Designed for
the Demands of Rescue and Rigging
The ExoFitô XP Rescue Harness is a new breed
of body support for the rope access/rescue
professional. It incorporates a unique blend of
fall arrest, positioning, suspension and rescue
attachment points without sacrificing premier
comfort and safety. The most dependable and
comfortable harness in fall protection now features the essential components for rigging and
rescue. Many rescue harnesses on the market
are built by simply attaching shoulder straps to a
mountaineering harness without recognizing the
importance of fall arrest. DBI-SALA’s engineers
have created a hybrid for those who want both
all-day comfort and safety while suspended at
height or moving from one location to another.
Perfect Blend of Components
Whether performing rope rescue off of an Ibeam on a construction site or rigging in the
ceiling of an arena, professionals demand a
comfortable harness that will help them get the
job done right. The ExoFitô XP Rescue Harness
incorporates both chest and waist D-ring attachment points that are ideal for suspension
or for use with a rescue descender if required.
An ergonomic hip pad and body belt with side
D-rings provide added comfort and back support
during rigorous work positioning activities. Unlike most other rescue harnesses on the market,
DBI-SALA’s ExoFitô XP uses a sub-pelvic strap to
channel the energy of a fall throughout the body
greatly reducing the chance of injury. Finally, the
ExoFitô XP provides the ultimate in wrap around
comfort with removable shoulder, leg and back
padding and soft edging to help prevent rubbing
and chaffing.
Easy to Use without Sacrificing Safety
One-handed quick-connect buckles and a spring
loaded “stand-up” dorsal D-ring ensures fast
donning and safe connections - an absolute
must if a prompt rescue is needed. We’ve also
built-in accessory/tool rings to the hip pad/belt
for better support and comfort when carrying
extra equipment and gear. Every DBI-SALA harness combines maximum comfort, freedom of
movement and ease of use without sacrificing
safety. They are all designed to securely retain a
worker in case of a fall and distribute the impact
forces throughout the body.
