The robust Prostor 500 is a top quality
awning. This awning is very strong and
stable. By the way, the Prostor 500 is the
most compact awning for bigger lengths
(4 m and more).
The Prostor 500 has the same awning
box for length up to 6 m. As a result the
weight for larger awnings (from 4 m)
decreases significantly. The 6 m awning
has 3 retractable arms.
The motor (220 V or 12 V) is fully integrated
in the roller tube and the emergency manual
operation is a standard accessory. The motor
can be operated by remote control (230 V) or

With the Prostor 300 for roof mounting and the Prostor 400 for wall mounting,
­Prostor offers you the ideal solution for small vehicles, vans and caravans.
Please find herewith some of the many reasons to convince you of its advantages.
The lightest awning on the market
The allowed weight limit of the vehicle is gaining importance and is
also checked more often. Also the construction of the caravan does
not always stand heavy weights. The Prostor 300 for roof i­nstallation
and the Prostor 400 for wall fixation are the lightest and most
­adequate awnings on the market for this kind of vehicles.
Most compact dimensions
The box measurements are from 15% (Prostor 400) up to 25%
­(Prostor 300) smaller than the other retractable arm awnings on the
market. The Prostor units have almost no influence on the aerodynamic shape of the vehicle.
More shade
The general projection on the market is 2 m for awnings up to 2.65 m
long or 2.50 m projection for bigger units. When you choose for the
Prostor 300 or 400 model you get more shade. Vehicles requiring a
2.65 m awning, for instance the VW T5, get a projection of 2.50 m
instead of the general 2 m. So, your gain of protection is 25%!
Other awning lengths offer a projection of 2.60 m.

Adequate adapters for a perfect installation
Each vehicle roof- or body construction has its specific shapes.
The Prostor range provides you all kinds of brackets in order to fit
each curve.
Specified sizes
The Prostor 300 of 3.25 m or 3.75 m perfectly fits your van with a
short or a longer wheelbase. The Prostor 400 is even available from
2.65 m (ideal for the VW T5) up to 4 m. Are you looking for a unit of
more than 4 m? No problem, you’ll certainly find what you are looking
for in the Prostor 500 and Prostor 600 models.
Extra shade or privacy
The Prostor awnings can be equipped with side or front panels
(Sun or Rain Protector). We also offer the waterproof tent, the Prostor
Camp Room, which is very easy to install on your awning. On page 18

COLOURS
Fabric colours
The polyester fabric with a PVC coating is from the highest quality. The fabric is colour resistant, waterproof, washable, rot-proof and can be rolled
up when damp. Moreover the Prostor fabric is made of one piece (without welding seam) and so the fabric is printed from top to bottom. Thanks to
the Prostor Cleaner (see page 22) the fabric can be washed with colour permanency.

Simple and very quick installation

Step 1: Fasten the clamping profiles
Click the clamping profiles of the side
panels together.
Thanks to a built-in spring, you can easily
tighten the clamping profile between the
awning box and the front profile.
The awning fabric lays automatically on
the clamping profile. Put the clamping bar
on the clamping profile and turn the lock
just a quarter of a turn.
Slide the side panel with string in the rail
of the clamping profile.
Click the mast profiles together and slide
in the string of the side panel. The height
can easily be adjusted. Press the rubber
flaps against the side of the vehicle.
Fasten the side panel to the support foot
by means of Velcro.
Step 3: Tight the diagonal profiles
Step 4: Attach the front panel
Screw the diagonal profiles in the mast
and clamping profiles.
Slide the front panel with string in the rail
of the front profile.

The Prostor Rain Protector is a grey, non-transparent PVC fabric which
is water- and windproof. The front and the side panels are available in
different sizes. The side panels are foreseen with a window. The side
panel can be used both right and left.

1. Tension rafter
The tension rafter keeps the fabric tight. Supplied as standard for
­awnings of 4 m and more. There are 2 versions: 2.50 m and 2.60 m.
2. Motor
The awning can also be equipped with an integrated 230 V or 12 V motor
without enlarging the awning. The motor can be operated via a remote
control (230 V) or a switch (12 V or 230 V); please state your preference
when ordering. The 230 V motor has an integrated manual override for
emergency operation. With the 12 V version an end cap with gearing is
standard supplied so the awning can be closed m
­ anually in emergency
cases. A manual awning cannot be installed ­retrospectively with a motor.

3. Sealing joint
Ensure waterproofness between the wall of the vehicle and the P­ rostor
500 or Prostor 700 awning. Available in different lengths (3 m, 3.50 m,
4 m and 30 m) and width (Small = 50 mm, Large = 75 mm).

Close the space between the vehicle and the Prostor 300 or Prostor 600

Brustor will use the trademark PROSTOR to gather the production of
awnings, umbrella systems and accessories for recreation vehicles,
­static caravans and holiday homes.
The company employs more than 100 highly skilled people,
who ­always go that extra mile. Each and every one of them is an
­experienced, motivated, customer oriented individual with a
­passion for quality.
Brustor is located at Geluwe, Belgium at 20 km of Lille and 100 km
of Brussels. This central location is a big advantage for fluent logistics.
At Brustor we manufacture awnings in premises of more than 20,000 m².
The family Brutsaert invests in the future and recently expanded
in Gullegem, Belgium, with a new production hall of 18,000 m²,
­including a new state-of-the-art powder coating line. Due to this
­expansion to 35,000 m², the Group is able to make ­quality products
within the shortest possible delivery time.

The Prostor LED-light (12 V) is a unique patented lighting system that lights up the
space under the awning by nightfall. This Power LED light, in the middle of the
­awning, not only provides a cosy atmosphere but it can also (for example) be used to
read a book. This 12 V lighting system offers a lot of advantages: the casing of these
lights never gets hot which prevents the fabric to get burnt. The power LED light
is a long-life ­system with a very low energy consumption and is waterproof. While
closing the ­awning, the LED lights disappear together with the retractable arms in
the awning box. All the wiring is hidden in the retractable arms and awning box.
