Robert E. Newton is a film editor and videographer with over 20 years experience on many
types of project. Robert has experience directing (and second-unit directing) drawing on his
career in film and video editing, as well as his expertise in theatre to work with actors and crew.
His professional theatre background -as actor and director- give him insight into drama and
acting, whether behind the camera or in the editing suite. He enjoys the creative process and is
keen to delve into areas like CGI/special effects -having been FX supervisor and helping to
develop and conceive FX sequences for numerous projects. He has recently edited a cutting
edge, soon to be released, film for iPad. Robert has written extensive ADR and dialogue
sequences, and had directed ADR sessions. Robert also has experience in helping conceive
music scores and sound mixes.
