a classic. Now, as we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we’re proud to be known as the world’s
premier classic car show. Not only do we have the most classic cars for enthusiasts to enjoy,
but we also bring together legendary rock ‘n roll bands, heart-pounding drag races & burnouts,
show-n-shines, an auction and so much more. With nearly a million attendees expected, there’s
no other event that gets your motor running quite like Hot August Nights.

DRAG RACES & BURNOUTS
The Hot August Nights Drag Races & Burnouts brings the excitement to all involved, as the roar of big
blocks come to life and the smell of burnt rubber fills the air. Car participants flex some vintage muscle
as they rip down one-sixteenth of a mile track to prove whose got the hotter rod! This event is a favorite
and leaves you only wanting more.

HOT AUGUST NIGHTS AUCTION
More chrome. More fenders. More muscle. The Hot August Nights Auction returns, featuring hundreds of
classic beauties on display. During this three-day event, buyers, sellers and adoring spectators gather to
watch each vehicle roll out on stage for its moment of glory. This is your chance to see some of the world’s
most sought-after, unique and valuable vehicles in one place…before they’re going, going, gone.
BIG BOY’S TOY STORE
You’re never too old to play with toys. These toys, however, are all about feeding your adrenaline,
embracing your inner weekend warrior, and sparking your love for nostalgia. There will be hundreds of
booths with thousands of products spread throughout 55,000 square feet of the latest in parts, accessories
and technology for your hot rod, street rod, and muscle car. Visit such vendors as hot rod builders, stereo
equipment, tires and wheels, chassis, bodies, engines and engine builders, and anything else you can
think of for your hot rod or classic vehicle.
SHOW-N-SHINES
You wax it. You polish it. You baby it. Now it’s time you flaunt it. Hot August Nights Show-n-Shines offers the most
opportunities for proud classic car owners to strut their stuff and win big with over $100,000 in cash and prizes
at stake. Best of all, Show-n-Shine participants are coming out for more than the heft prize purses, they’re
here for the bragging rights of winning and showing off that trophy. Crowds love lining up to see the winners
announced, it’s an exciting thing only further establishing Hot August Nights as the premier classic car event in
the world. Show-n-Shine competitions happen throughout the region that recognize a wide array of vehicles,
from the most luxurious collector cars to everyday automobiles. This beloved tradition is one not to miss.

SWAP MEET & AUTOCROSS
To craft a classic takes classic parts. Luckily, the Hot August Nights Swap Meet is your one-stop shop for
thousands of pre-1976 automotive parts, services and nostalgic items from over 700 vendors in 1500+ outdoor
spaces, as well as 250 covered spaces. Swap meet attendees can also check out over 400 collector vehicles
offered for sale in the outdoor cool car corral which is adjacent to the swap area.
If you’ve never autocrossed your hotrod before, Hot August Nights’ Autocross event is the perfect way to see
what your car is made of. Feel the rush as you take on a course through cones set up in a series. Don’t worry
if you’re not a racing pro – this course is designed for novice autocrossers looking for a fun thrill.
