Biographies
Riviera–Ensley A&D Team
Art Ensley, Managing Director
Art graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelors’ degree in Mineral Land Management. He held various land and
business development positions with BP Exploration and related entities (Sohio Petroleum Company, Standard Oil Production
Company, Tex/Con Oil & Gas) for 11 years. After leaving BP in 1991, Art and his wife Linda formed Ensley Properties, Inc. (EPI).
Since the formation of EPI, Art has acted as the principal transaction advisor for EPI clients in producing properties, mineral/leasehold
acreage, drilling prospects and mid-stream asset transactions. He resides in Houston, Texas.
Roger Eustance, Business Development Manager
Roger graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering and from the University of Houston with an
MBA in Finance. He started his career with Enron Oil & Gas Company where, for nine years, he held numerous engineering and
management positions. After leaving Enron Oil & Gas, Roger joined Louis Dreyfus Energy Corp. where he was Manager of Acquisitions
and completed over 50 transactions that led to the creation of the public company Louis Dreyfus Natural Gas Corp. Roger then joined
the Stratum Group where he became a Partner and Sr. Vice President. Roger then joined Bayerische Hypo-Und Vereinsbank AG, a
large German commercial bank, where he led the bank’s U.S. oil and gas lending practice. In 2007, Roger joined Prospect Ridge Energy
where he managed a portfolio of non-operated working interests that produced approximately 1,000 BOEPD. He resides in Houston,
Texas.
John T. Gray, Engineering Manager
John graduated from Texas Tech University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering. He has 21 years
experience in office supervision, field operations supervision, reservoir engineering and production engineering. John worked for major
oil companies and independent oil companies as both a direct hire and a consultant involved in active exploration programs,
development programs, waterflood monitoring, as well as working/nonworking interest owner operations. He has experience in primary
oil and gas, secondary waterflood, tertiary CO2, horizontal drilling and remedial operations. He has spent most of his time working the
Permian Basin, but has northern Michigan and onshore Gulf Coast operational experience as well. He has worked as an engineer or
consultant for such firms as Union Oil Company of California, H. L. Brown, Jr., Penwell Energy, Inc., Chevron Corporation and David
H. Arrington Oil and Gas. He resides in Midland, Texas.

Steve Guyton, Geologist
Steve has been involved in all aspects of the oil & gas exploration and production business for 50+ years. This has included the
development of oil & gas drilling prospects, production evaluation, lease purchase negotiations, drilling operations, reserve estimation,
lease operating expense review and other functions related to geology, land, engineering and corporate management. Steve has extensive
experience in all aspects of marketing oil & gas properties. Steve has been associated with Riviera Energy Corporation for the last six
years. He has consulted and worked with numerous companies over his career including: Dan A. Hughes Co., Great Western Drilling
Co., Coseka Resources and Lyco Energy Corp., Belcor (formerly Transierra Exploration Co.) as Vice-President – Exploration, MGF Oil
Corp. as Vice President – Exploration, Champlin Petroleum Co. as Area Geologist, Texaco Inc. as Exploration Geologist, and Pennzoil
Co. (formerly Union Producing Co.) as a Geologist and Geological Scout.
Mr. Guyton attended Colgate University from 1955 – 1959 where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1959, majoring in Geology
and minoring in Economics. Steve then attended the University of Michigan where he received a Master of Science Degree in Geology in
1960. Steve is a member of the American Assoc. of Petroleum Geologists, South Texas Geological Society and the West Texas
Geological Society. Steve has been involved with projects in the Permian Basin, Gulf Coast, Mid-Continent, Rocky Mountain and
Appalachian provinces.
