The story of a brand. It is a tale of adventure that started back in 1897 based on the skill and creativity of a resourceful master cobbler, which has continued for over one hundred years with commitment, tenacity and all Italian passion. Dolomite has been shaped by true adventure. The first in 1954: an Italian expedition group started the mission to conquer the K2 in the Himalaya mountains - one of the most dangerous peak in the world they were equipped with Dolomite boots. Many other expeditions followed: from Groenlandia in 1966, the ascent of the great Fitz Roy peak in Patagonia in 1976, to the last charity “challenge” Rangdum 2011. It is to these extraordinary traditions that Dolomite owes its unique knowledge and great experience, which you can feel in all the collections. 1897 Lifestyle collection. Once again this year, the Lifestyle collection is expanding with new products drawn directly from the great successes of the past. Starting with “La Classica”, a product made in Italy using selected Italian leather, with an extremely high artisanal quality that includes “Ideal” processing, in which the soles and upper are hand-stitched together. Another great new proposal is reserved for women, as Dolomite creates its first line of products dedicated exclusively to them. The shoes are created on lasts specifically made for women's feet, and the design and colours are conceived to highlight their femininity and style. Moreover the OttantaCinque project: a footwear line inspired by the evolving fashions of the ’80s, when sports shoes began to transcend the traditional boundaries of use, occupying new urban contexts.
