during the French Revolution. Visit eclectic Montmartre this evening where you will enjoy an
authentic French dinner on the Place du Tertre. This square, known for its artists, was once home

FEB 15, 2016: PARIS This morning you may choose an optional excursion to Versailles. See Louis
XIV s palace, once the symbol of French royal absolutism, and explore the expansive gardens.
Then discover the magnificent Louvre. From its beginnings as a royal fortress to its current status
as the world s most visited art museum, the Louvre has been at the center of Parisian culture.
Feast your eyes upon famous masterpieces as you tour the museum, which is home to a collection
of 35,000 works of art from around the world. Then perhaps stroll through the Latin Quarter.

FEB 16, 2016: MADRID Today is free for you to visit the Impressionist works of the Musée d Orsay
or descend into the Catacombs where more than six million 18th century Parisians are buried.

FEB 17, 2016: MADRID This morning join your local guide for a panoramic bus tour of the city. See
Madrid s most important sights before discovering the works of Goya, El Greco and Velázquez as
your guide navigates you through the treasures of the Prado, providing commentary via personal
