Located in the heart of Southwold, The Swan is an AA 4 Star, traditional Hotel.

in our secluded wildlife-friendly garden.

Situated in the main building, our
standard rooms have everything you
need to ensure a relaxing and
enjoyable stay in Southwold. Room
numbers 3,4 and 7 are on the first floor.
Our Lighthouse Rooms are situated behind the main
hotel building around the Swan’s secluded garden. All of
the rooms have a coastal feel, with gentle colour
schemes and reclaimed driftwood features. With its
ideal location, you are left in no doubt that you’re just a
short walk from the sea.

The Lighthouse Classic Rooms are larger doubles /
twin rooms, and all have their own patio area where
you can enjoy drinks after a stroll on the beach. All
the rooms have a seaside feel and are fresh,
contemporary and airy.

Our Swan Classic Rooms are traditionally
furnished and are situated within the
main building. The rooms offer greater
floor space than our standard rooms, some
with superb views over the Market Place.
Our Premier rooms are distinguished by their large
floor spaces, enabling us to feature larger pieces of
furniture. Some offer commanding views of
Southwold. Rooms 15 and 16 also have spacious
and sumptuous bathrooms.

The Crown
Buzzing all year-round, The Crown Hotel is a Boutique Hotel situated on Southwold's High Street,
just a short stroll from the beach.
The food and drink is famously good. Our Head Chef, Tyler Torrence, makes regular appearances
at Food & Drink festivals across East Anglia demonstrating his expertise, so if you’re a foodie
you’ll enjoy dining at The Crown. We also offer a range of exciting cocktails served from the bar
incorporating the Adnams Copper House Distillery spirits.
Our bedrooms have been recently refurbished by a local interior designer in a fresh coastal style,
mixing recycled materials and locally-made furniture in innovative and attractive ways.

The Crown’s 14 bedrooms are reached through charmingly twisting corridors and staircases including delightful beamed attic rooms which are ideal for families.

All our rooms are furnished to a high standard, but our standard rooms have a little less floor space
than our larger superior rooms. Room 7 is a single, but can be a small double.

Our Superior rooms are larger
rooms, with extra furniture to
make your stay even more
luxurious. Rooms 12 and 14 are
beamed attic rooms.
We love room 4 - it's actually more like a private flat,
with a luxurious bathroom, a large bedroom
overlooking Southwold High Street, and a large,
separate room with bookcases, sofa bed and ample
cupboard space. We've had requests from guests
wanting to live here permanently!
