Campfire Concert & Cookout
A summer evening around a
roaring campfire! Join us as we
enjoy a traditional summer cookout
with Pulled Pork Sandwich, baked beans,
creamy cole slaw, dessert and beverage.
We will have roasting sticks and marshmallows too.
Musical entertainment provided by guitarist Tim
Dortch will make you smile. Plus yell out the answers
during the fun group campfire games. Sit back and
enjoy the fire and good company in the Stow Senior

that have faded away from the Akron area’s
changing landscape.

Company? Rolling Acres Mall? Akron Times-Press?
The North Hill Viaduct? Norka Soda? These icons
all defined the city and it’s people.
Join Author Mark J. Price as he takes you back to
the Rubber City’s heyday by reminiscing about fifty
vanished landmarks in the Akron area.

days of Hollywood musicals, taking a stroll down memory lane with

the elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong!
The rules are easy to learn in a short time.
Pickleball is a fast-paced, competitive yet social game
that is played with a paddle and a plastic ball on a
court half the size of a tennis court.
Athletic Senior Adult & Adult Play
Tuesdays & Thursdays 6pm - 8pm through October 27
($5 player fee paid at court for a 3 month session of play)
Beginners attend Thursdays at 6:00pm for a quick lesson.
Equipment available at first time to learn the sport, players
then provide their own paddle for future play.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Pre-registration is required & full payment is due upon registration. No Holds
No credits or refunds are issued within 7 days of a program or trip due to
change in personal schedule, illness or conflict.
Refund requests may be granted if made in writing at least seven days prior
to a trip or program and no expenses/ticket purchases have occurred.
A $5 processing fee is applied to all refunds made seven days prior to program.
Individuals may always find a replacement for their reservation if unable to
attend - Please inform the office of name change.
A full refund is given if the Stow Parks & Recreation Department must cancel
a trip due to low enrollment.
Special Assistance: Please let us know at registration if wheelchair seating is required.
Bus departs - Stow City Hall 3760 Darrow Road unless otherwise noted.
Return times are approximate, please allow for additional time.

Some programs fill quickly or minimum numbers must be met in order to
hold an activity. If the Stow Parks & Recreation Department must cancel a
program due to low numbers you will receive a full refund of program fees.
