Hope wanted to create
awareness around a new
store opening whilst also
redefining the brand within
the Danish market. Malling
Publications produced two
fashion editorials with Danish cultural figures wearing
Hope. During the same
month that the editorial was
printed in the magazine we
held a party in the newly
opened store. The 300
chosen guests who attended
were all from Hope’s target
group of consumers with
spending power and a strong
sense of quality, and Hope
later reported the highest
sales figures in Denmark in
the last five years.

Gant
Our Gant collaboration
consisted of a relaunch of
a new line of shirts, where
we helped Gant communicate the story behind their
classic shirts and create
awareness around them.
We shot two six-page advertorials with a strikingly
creative yet product-orientated look with the shirt as
the focal point. The entire
Gant campaign took place
over six months, encompassing advertorials, ads
and several stories on our
social platforms and on
cover.dk.

very effective and allow you to show a larger
selection from a collection.
Weekday
Over recent seasons, Weekday have made use of advertorials in the shape of mood
boards in Cover. Mood boards allow a client to showcase the pieces they’d like to
highlight. Cover was also the
media partner on a shopping
event in the Weekday store
on Strøget in Copenhagen
where more than 700 shoppers participated, forming
an enviable long queue down
the street.

2nd Day
The idea behind the collaboration with 2nd Day was to increase brand
awareness as well as followers on Instagram. We created a package with
smaller and bigger elements in print, on cover.dk and on our social platforms. The creative collaboration took place over four months and also included an advertorial on social media where selected ambassadors shared
their favourite pieces.

66°North
66°North started out as a typical advertisement collaboration but ended up as a strong
partnership. We recently arranged a shopping evening in their store on Strøget in Copenhagen where Cover was responsible for everything from the music booking to inviting readers
and our network. 66°North beat the sales records of their Danish stores, and the online
coverage on cover.dk and Instagram helped raise brand awareness in Denmark.

At Malling Publications we are able to
create and carry out entire solutions, from
campaign production to spreading awareness in print and on digital platforms as
well as event implementation.
Illum
We were responsible for the opening of Illum’s
newly renovated lower ground accessories floor.
The project included devising and producing
a concept for a visual campaign for print and
outdoor as well as hosting a large event to mark
the opening. In addition to this we did a strong
six-page advertorial with noted figures from
Cover’s network, where each girl was shot with
her favourite bag from Illum and explained why
she loved it. The girls participated in the event,
and with a total reach of over one million people
on social media they created a large amount of
attention around Illum’s opening.

publishing house and publications we have
a sizeable knowledge of and experience in
magazines as a medium – in print as well

Kea Reports
The Copenhagen School of Design and Technology (KEA) wanted a magazine that portrays
day-to-day life at KEA. Using various angles, the
magazine highlights the societal value inherent in
education, with a strong focus on KEA’s programmes within a wider societal perspective. The
magazine is intended for a wide target group with
different interests in degrees and subjects. The
magazine is distributed to collaborators, business contacts and not least future and current
students and employees at KEA.
We develop, produce and print publications for a number of clients, and
our client magazines are all created using the same skills that we use on
a daily basis on Cover and The Horse Rider’s Journal. Our approach to
Client Publishing is that a client magazine should be as good, engaging
and as carefully produced as a commercial magazine.

Sloggi EverNew Nina
We produced a film for Sloggi starring the Danish
top model Nina Agdal. So far, the film has
had 1.4 million views.
Online or viral campaign films have become a popular and effective way to share messages and create strong branding. We offer assistance from idea
development to strategy and production. Since we
produce the films ourselves we are able to deliver
a quick and flexible process.
Pandora The Unique Connection
Pandora needed a different kind of Mother’s Day
campaign. We created the viral movie ‘The Unique
Connection’, all the way from strategy to film production. The film has become Denmark’s biggest
viral success ever and amassed no less than 52
million views globally in only a few months. In addition to this the film has been covered by major
media outlets around the world and held number 1
spots on all the international hit lists. The film was
also nominated for ‘YouTube Ads of the Year’.

All material must be provided as a finished and
print-ready PDF with 5mm bleed all the way
around and must include crop marks. The resolution must be 300 DPI minimum and only CMYK
colours are permitted.

text and image-crucial elements must be placed
at least 10mm inside the cropped format.

Cancellations
The deadline for cancellation is 14 days before
booking and deadline date. Cancelling a reserved
or placed order at a later date than the issue’s
cancellation deadline will incur a 50% fee of the
agreed net price.

Advertisement control
Malling Publications is entitled in its absolute
discretion to reject advertisements that are in
conflict with current legislation or are otherwise
unwanted. If Malling Publications estimates an advertisement could possibly be considered editorial
content, the word ‘advertisement’ will be applied
to the ad.
Inaccuracies & corrections
Any corrections for original material must be
given before the material deadline. Malling Publications accepts no responsibility for corrections
that have been given via phone. No reduction in
advertising rates is given where the magazine
is without fault in the occurrence of an error, or
where fault has occurred during the submitting of
advertising material.
Complaints
In regards to the printing of advertisements,
Malling Publications accepts no responsibility for
slight deviations from the colours of the original
material. Malling Publications also maintains its
right to reject complaints about advertisements
where the material is deemed less appropriate for
reproduction or where the deadline hasn’t been
met.
Terms and conditions of payment
All advertisement rates are calculated according
to the rates valid on the day of insertion. Payment
must reach us no later than 14 days net from the
invoice date.
Proofs
One proof is given per advertisement. If the
advertisement is placed by a media agency the
proof will be sent separately. All proofs are sent
together with the invoice.
