Quality Of Life Can Be Planned

EXPERIENCE THE WARMEST
MOMENTS WITH thermotec®
No more cold feet! That's more than just empty
words for us at thermotec®. It's a value proposition fastidiously guaranteed. Why? Because
floors insulated with thermotec® are simply
warmer for your feet. You can feel this with
the very first contact. Whether in the morning
when getting up, after a shower in the bath-
room, while sitting at a desk or a cozy evening
on the couch, heat is always flowing over your
feet and into the floor.
With thermotec®, you can reduce this heat
loss significantly. So you save valuable energy
while increasing comfort.
3
IN LIFE THERE ARE INTRINSIC INNER VALUES,
WHICH ALSO NEED TO BE AFFORDABLE.
Quality of life can be planned.
With thermotec® on the floor it becomes a reality.
The fact is that we at thermotec®
apply only half as thick a layer to
achieve acceptable insulation values.
This means for you as a planning architect: You achieve sufficient heat
protection even with low installation
heights!
4
The fact is that with thermotec®, you
get impact sound insulation, leveling
and thermal insulation in one go. You
save important working hours, achieve
a readiness for covering faster and have
all the temperature control of all floor
areas. A balance that you can really
feel. With thermotec® the floors become
a piece of adorable and comfortable living space.
No more cold feet.
A promise is a promise!
COMPARATIVE MEASUREMENT IN TWO PATTERN FLOOR STRUCTURES
Measured U-value: 0,988 m2K/W
Product: 50 mm EPS-W20 WLG 038
Unevenness is compensated in the screed. Pipes are exposed.
Does not correspond to DIN 18560-2 and the NORM B 2232.
Measured U-value: 0,818 m2K/W
Product: 50 mm thermotec® BEPS-WD 100R WLG 050
Unevenness is compensated in the damp course (no excess consumption with screed!).
Pipes are well-covered. Jointless installation. No clippings and no waste.
20% less heat loss. Base layer conforms to norms! NORMS CHECKED!
Schematic comparison of thermotec® – Polystyrene concrete
Polystyrene concrete
thermotec®
Thanks to the thin binder film, thermotec® achieves insulation values similar to polystyrene.
Polystyrene concrete offers through the dense cement microstructure little insulation properties.
Polystyrene concrete needs about twice the mounting
strength to reach the insulation values of thermotec®.

WHETHER FLOOR, WALL, CEILING OR ROOF –
THERMOTEC®-PRODUCTS ARE VERSATILE IN APPLI

6
Attic insulation
thermotec® Insulation Filler is used for
loft insulations. The jointless insulation
material can be used without screed if
the insulated surface is not going to be
walked upon.
Pitched roof insulation
thermotec® Insulaion Fillers are blown
and without joins under pressure inbetween the rafters.
Wall backfill
The thermotec® Insulation Filler is
injected into the cavities with compressed air.
4
Insulation under flowing screed
thermotec® Insulation Fillers insulate
and pave the underground under flowing screeds in an ideal way. Thus material consumption is lowered for the
leveling screed.
5
Insulation under heated screed
thermotec® Insulation Fillers are suitable for installation under floor heating.
6
Insulation under Nano Screed®
thermotec® Insulation Fillers can be
used under the Nano Screed® in all living areas.
7
Insulation under pre-fab screed
The more solid thermotec® products
are also suitable as sub-construction
for pre-fab (dry) screeds.
8
Arch/vault backfilling
Arche/vault backfilling and height
backfilling can be designed/created
with thermotec®-Insulation Fillers up
to a meter in one work process.
9
Cellar backfill
Thermal insulation, protection of the
basement wall waterproofing, backfill,
drain layer and substructure for plaster
eaves in one work process.

Insulation under the cement screed
thermotec® Insulation Fillers under
cement screeds in all areas of the living space of a building.
11
Insulation under mastic asphalt
screed
thermotec® Insulation Fillers can be
used under mastic asphalt screeds.
Fesco slates should be laid before the
laying of mastic asphalt screed.
12
13
Flat roof slope insulation
You can make the slope in and apply
the necessary insulation in one work
process. No more long planning and
delivery times.
Slab floor insulation
With the thermotec® Slab Floor Insulation Filler, you can create a flat
granular subbase and at the same
time provide the necessary thermal
insulation in one work process.
14
15
Pool backfill
pooltec-Wall insulates and backfills
your swimming pool. As a result,
the average water temperature is increased by about 4°C.
Pool slab floor insulation
pooltec-Floor creates a flat, heat-insulating underground for your swimming pool.

PROCESSING free bare ceiling/wall:
The processing and installation of thermotec® free bare ceiling/wall is performed with microprocessor-controlled mixing mobiles.
Mix 1 sack (200 l) with 10-12 litres of water
(depending on product) in a screed pump to a
homogenous insulation (ca. 2 min. mixing time).
Train (bandage), pour in and compress, and
scrape off to level.
Rework the connector edge of the wall and
compress the applied surface.
LAYING:
It is important to ensure that the insulation material is compacted over the entire surface
before screeding (for example: with a large aluminum blade or with a large trowel).
CURING:
After laying, a minimum temperature
of +5°C must be ensured up to readiness for walking upon.
In the first 24 hours drafts should be
avoided or prevented.
It is necessary to check the insulation
layer before the first walking (acc.
ÖNORM B 6550-2 and DIN 18560-2).
Observe the safety data sheets!
14
The insulation layer may only be
used for under-floor heating installation purposes and for screed-laying.
Before laying the insulation layer, it
must be checked for dryness. Evidence of readiness is when the moisture content is below 12-M%.
