Note: Weather and other factors can affect the construction schedules of the projects listed below.
NORTHWEST
1
A reconfiguration and widening of the I-270 and U.S.
33/S.R. 161 Interchange includes an approximately fourmonth closure of U.S. 33/S.R. 161 at I-270. Expect other
restrictions on I-270 and U.S. 33/S.R. 161 as this reconfiguration is
completed. March 2015 to September 2017 (ODOT)

S.R. 315 work will be added to the Northside “Mega” Fix at
I-270 and N. High Street (U.S. 23). Expect various
restrictions including two-month closures for the eastbound
I-270 to northbound S.R. 315 ramp and the southbound S.R.
315 to eastbound I-270 ramp. Through September 2017

I-70 will be reconstructed between Hilliard-Rome Road and
Wilson Road. Expect lane restrictions on I-70.

Spring 2015 to Fall 2015 (Franklin County)

Riggins Road will be extended from Wilcox Road to Avery
Road. Expect detours for Wilcox Road during construction.
Spring 2015 to Summer 2016 (Franklin County)

The interchange at S.R. 161 and Riverside Drive will be
reconfigured and improved. Expect turn restrictions and
lane closures for this major project. May 2015 to Fall 2016

A roundabout will be constructed at the intersection of
S.R. 161 and Eiterman Road in Dublin. Expect closures and

Hard Road will be widened and reconstructed between
Sawmill Road and Smoky Row Road. Expect various lane
closures. Dublin will improve the intersection of Hard Road
and Sawmill Road as part of this project. Summer 2015 to Fall

Sidewalks will be constructed and improvements will be
made to Smoky Row Road north of Hard Road. Expect

Bridge replacement will take place on West 5th Avenue
immediately west of Dublin Road. West 5th Avenue will be
closed between Dublin Road and McKinley Avenue for this
project that includes construction of a new shared-use path.

River Road between John Herrick Drive and Lane Avenue.

The John H. Herrick Drive Bridge over the Olentangy

Phase 1 of the Tremont Road Project will improve Tremont
Road between Kenny Road and Ridgeview Road. Traffic will

East Powell Road will be reconstructed and improved
between South Old State Road and Worthington Road.
Traffic will be maintained on East Powell Road. Expect some

Expect lane closures and some delays as crews work on U.S.
23 resurfacing and bicycle accommodation improvements
between downtown and East Hudson Street. Parts of High
Street, Summit Street, 3rd Street and 4th Street are among
the streets included. June 2015 to October 2015

Several jurisdictions have major resurfacing
programs planned for 2015. Traffic is typically
maintained for resurfacing projects. Expect delays
and be alert for workers and equipment. Access
to businesses and residences will be maintained.
Segments of West Broad Street,
Georgesville
Road, Olentangy River Road, Weber Road, Hayden
Run Road, Morse Crossing and King Avenue are a
few of the larger streets to be resurfaced in 2015.
