FAB Studio is a world class international architectural firm based in Dallas, Texas.
Founded by Frank A. Butler, a 30+ year industry trend setting icon, FAB Studio
focuses on architectural design of luxury resorts, hotels, spas, clubhouses and
residential projects. The team has been hand chosen to work with many of the top
industry operators including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Rosewood Hotels
and Resorts, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, West Paces, Westin, One and Only,
Raffles, and many more. In design, we believe the context should always
determine the outcome.
The history, landscape, terrain, climate and people all play a role in the shape and
mood of each building. We begin each project as a blank slate - it is exciting to
start fresh each time with new ideas. Now, more than ever before, responsible

Frank A. Butler, President
As founder of FAB Studio, Frank A. Butler is an architect with over 30 years of hospitality experience. He has traveled
the world many times over and understands the experience both as a guest and as a designer. Frank graduated from
the Texas A&M University in 1977 and has since won numerous awards for his design including the Republic of China
Architectural Golden Award: Best Architecture Design for Oviedo Gardens. He began his career at Shepherd & Boyd in
1978 and was a Founding Principal at Three Architecture, Inc. for 25 years. Frank has a passion for travel and golf. He
has been married to his wife, Ann, for over 30 years and has two grown children.

Patrick Dunn, Project Architect
Patrick Dunn is a licensed architect with over 20 years of experience. His subsequent roles have spanned every aspect
of the profession, including having previously owned his own architectural firm. Prior to joining FAB Studio, Patrick
worked with both Frank and Song at Three Architecture. Outside of his life at FAB Studio, Patrick enjoys spending time
with his wife, Traci, and four children. He is also an award winning photographer.

and senior living projects. Prior to joining FAB Studio, Gi-Hyong worked with both Frank and Song at Three Architecture.
The Seoul, South Korean native’s hobbies include remodeling his house and spending time with his family.

Born in Indonesia but raised in Texas, Ly has over 8 years of architectural experience in both design and construction
phases and over 4 years of Interior Design experience. Her flexibility and versatility in design skills and construction
documentation enables her to carry a project from design development with interior designers to construction
coordination with engineering consultants. Ly is also fluent in Vietnamese, loves to travel both near and far, likes to try
out the latest local restaurants in town, and enjoys yoga and power-lifting.
