Dear Saint Benedict School Families and Friends,
Welcome back to a new school year! I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer. My name is
April Bishop and I am the Chairperson for the Box Tops for Education programs for our school. Last year,
our Box Tops collecting earned $1,250 for our school I Congratulations on all of your time and work to
raise this money I This year, I have raised our school goal to $1,300 to exceed last year's
accomplishment. I think together we can work to meet and exceed this gOall
The Box Tops for Education program is a simple way to earn money for our school. There are 3
ways you can collect the box tops. The first is the most common to everyone. You buy the products
that have a box top on them, ·cut off the box top, and send them with your child or a school child to the
school. Each regular box top is worth 10 cents. Occasionally you will see Bonus Box Tops on the
products. These should also be cut out and submitted to the school.
From time to time, when you purchase box tops products at Giant Eagle, they will print out a
Bonus box top certificate at the registers. I have seen them range from 10 Box tops ($1 value) to 50 Box
tops ($5 value). Please make sure to send these to the school also before the expiration dates on them.
The final way to collect box tops is online. When you get on the website, you need to create an
account and choose our school to collect for. After you have registered online, the eBox tops are
automatically sent to our school and you can also enter the numerous on line sweepstakes they have to
give away bonus box tops to schools. Being registered also keeps you up-to-date on Bonus box tops
opportunities and gives you coupons and free samples. Make sure you link your store cards to your
account to earn the box tops. If anyone needs help, please contact met My goal is to .earn as much as
we can for Saint Benedict School.
When submitting the box tops, they can all be sent in a bag to be counted, or you can encourage
your child to tape or glue (Do Not staple) them to a collection sheet to submit to the school to make the
collecting and counting the box tops less time consuming. Bonus box tops should NEVER be attached to
the collection sheets because these are worth more money and need to be counted and submitted
separately. I appreciate everyone's help in keeping them separate! It is important when collecting box
tops to pay attention to the expiration dates. Any box top past the expiration date cannot be submitted
and that is money our school cannot earn. If you find
a box top close to the expiration date, feel free to
send them with a note to me so I can submit them before the date.
A full list of box tops products is attached to this letter for quick reference, but sometimes
products are added or deleted so please check out the websi.te (www.boxtops4education.com) from
