Our guest speaker this month is
our dear friend Jack Blumenthal
of Lion Brands.
Lion Brand is a family owned and
operated business and a beloved
American brand since 1878.
Today, the business is run by the fourth generation of
Blumenthals. Their passion for yarn is the secret to their
continuing success. Jack has been active in Lion Brands
for 24 years and his enthusiasm for his product is
evident. He always has something new and exciting to
share with us, such as their expanding brand of luxury
yarn LB.
This promises to be another fun filled evening with Jack
as he shares with us the forthcoming trends in yarns and
what is happening at the Studio and their new
warehouse in New Jersey.

APRIL 2012
From the President
Nicky Epstein brought so much energy to our meeting
last month, with a presentation and trunk show
displaying many of her innovative ideas. Judging by the
activity surrounding Nicky’s table of wares, many left
with ideas - and supplies - for projects of their own.
Hope that translates to some fun Show-and-Tell in the coming months!
I know we can expect another high-energy presentation at our meeting this month
when, once again, Jack Blumenthal visits to share insights and stories about Lion
Brand yarns, the Studio and the new Outlet store.
See you on the 23rd.
Linda
