In the new Seahawk 34, top designer
Ed Dubois has created a superb new
centre cockpit yacht with three-cabin
accommodation for up to 7 people,
outstanding performance and
sumptuous comfort. It is in every way
suited for long distance, 'live aboard'
fastcruising.
Computer-aided research intothe
huil design gives windward and
downwind directional stability and
genuine easeof handling. Under sail,
Seahawk is a stiff well-balanced f ast
cruising yacht, easily handled by a
crew of two. She is close-winded and
well mannered. Under engine she can
be manoeuvred in tight spaces,
turning within 1^ to 1 f of her length
both ahead and astern.

LONG DISTANCE
LIVE ABOARD LUXURY FOR 7
On deck The deck layout is designed as a
safe w o r k i n g area w i t h plenty of handholds
f o r a l l w e a t h e r c o n d i t i o n s . Doublé lifelines
are supplied as Standard. Thedeck is
painted w i t h highly efficiënt non-slippaint.
Up front there is a large doublé bow roller
for a Standard 35 Ib plough anchor. A l I gear
is sturdy and robust.
Belowdeck Seahawk sets a new high
Standard of comfort and luxury. The self contained aft cabin has a w i d e doublé berth
w i t h curved sofa seating. It hasa vanitory
unit w i t h washbasin, hot&cold water
supply and a full length hanging locker. The
forecabin has V b e r t h s and in-f ill
arrangement to convert it to a doublé. The
spacious saloon is bright and airy with its
blend of teak and ash. A single berth and Ushaped seating converts to a comfortable
doublé berth if needed. The heads has
shower, marine WC, washbasin with hot
and cold water, and vanitory unit and
hanging locker nearby. It has a pleasing
colour blended decor, and is easy to clean.

attractive brick red tiled finish. There's
generous stowage for crockery and cutlery.
The gimballedstove w i t h oven and grill is

in harbour. A12 V ref rigerator is f itted as
Standard. There is space and e q u i p m e n t t o
prepare marvellous meals on board.

bolted with hardwood pads. Otherdeck

diesel is f itted as Standard. This will
give a speed of around 7 knots at
cruising revs. Access to the engine
compartment is f rom the front, back
and f rom either side. A 35-gal Ion f uel
tank is located in the engine
compartment and a calorif ier providing
hot water using waste engine heat is
f itted in the cockpit sail locker.
