Day 1 Arrive in Belize and meet your tour guide.
Transfer to the San Ignacio area (approximately 3
hours) where you check into the Cahal Pech Village
Hotel or similar (5 nights) and enjoy dinner. (D)
Day 2 Breakfast at hotel. Take a tour to the
famous Mayan site of Xunantunich. Stop for
lunch and continue on to the Barton Creek Cave.
Here you board canoes that are guided down
the river into an underground cave system. Head
back to your hotel for dinner. (B,L,D)
Day 3 After breakfast, travel through the rainforest until you reach the largest, most impressive
Maya site in Belize – Caracol. Enjoy a picnic
lunch onsite. On your return to the hotel for
dinner, stop enroute for a refreshing swim in the
beautiful Rio Frio pools and caves. (B,L,D)
Day 4 Have breakfast at the hotel before heading to Jaguar Paw for some cave tubing! Float
effortlessly downstream through several caverns
and rainforest clearings. After tubing, enjoy a
lunch and then return to the hotel for dinner. (B,L,D)
Day 5 Rise for an early breakfast. The tour takes
you across the country’s border into neighbouring Guatemala for a visit to the world famous
Mayan site of Tikal. After lunch, head back
across the border into Belize for your last night at
your first hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 6 After breakfast, check out before travelling to the Belize Zoo. Spend the morning at the
zoo learning about many endangered species.
After lunch, continue on to the Howler Monkey
Sanctuary. Then it’s onto Belize City to check into
the Belize Biltmore Hotel or similar (2 nights) and
to enjoy a delicious dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 7 After breakfast, spend the day exploring the region. Drive to Tower Hill and board
a boat. Cruise along the river and spot wildlife
such as crocodiles and manatees. Soon you’ll
arrive at a large lagoon for a visit to the impressive site of Lamanai. Tour the museum before
stopping for lunch. In the afternoon, hike
through the rainforest to discover more structures and pyramids. Dinner is back at the hotel
in Belize City. (B,L,D)
Day 8 Check out of the hotel and transfer to
the Belize International Airport for return flight
home. (B)
