& Winterfest
On behalf of Mrs. Karen Gabruk, Principal, the Robert Hunter
Staff, the Robert Hunter students and the Robert Hunter PTO, we
warmly welcome you to tonight’s exciting 2015 PTO Basket Auction & Winterfest. Winterfest is new to our event this year—we
hope that our students and children enjoy the entertainment and
dance party we have arranged for them. We thank you very much
for supporting Robert Hunter School and PTO by attending tonight’s events!
For the Basket Auction:
Between 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, we invite you to view the baskets prepared for the auction. We would like to thank the many
local businesses, national corporations and the generosity of many
families here at Robert Hunter for donating items for tonight’s
event. We have listed the donors in this program along with each
basket’s description. Overall, the PTO has prepared 179 White
Ticket Baskets and 32 Blue Ticket Baskets. When you drop in your
tickets, please ensure you are using white tickets for white ticket
baskets and blue tickets for blue ticket baskets. Thank you.
We have two additional special baskets located in the school
lobby: a $5.00 Red ticket for a chance to win 4 one-day Park Hopper Passes to Walt Disney World. Also, we have a $5.00 Gold
ticket for the chance to win a $500 Gift Card & beautiful Pearl

Robert Hunter School. The Silent Auction items list can be
found in this program. If you are bidding on the Silent Auction
items, please write your cellular telephone number on the bid
sheets. Winners of Silent Auction items will be contacted by cell
phone after 8:00 PM to claim winning prizes. If you have any
questions, please see a PTO member for information.
PTO members will also be walking around the school selling 5050 Tickets. These Green & White Tickets are $1.00 per ticket or
$5.00 for 10 tickets. The winner of the 50-50 drawing will be
announced during the auction. The winner must be present at
the auction to claim the 50-50 prize.
We also have a Special Winterfest 50-50 Game in the School
Lobby. Pick your lucky ticket from the Winterfest Tree for a
$5.00 ticket. You could be a big winner! The winner of the
Winterfest 50-50 will be announced during the auction. The
winner must be present at the auction to claim the Winterfest
prize.
From about 8:00 PM, we will begin pulling the winning tickets for the baskets and announcing winning numbers. If your
ticket number is called, please make some NOISE! Our PTO
volunteer runners will bring the winning prizes to your seat and
will be verifying the winning tickets. For large boxed items,
prizes can be kept in the front of the gym until the end of the
auction. Thank you.

We plan to have all winning numbers called by 9:30 PM. For
this auction, the winner does not need to be present
when the winning numbers are called, except for the
50-50 Games. If you cannot attend the entire auction, don’t
worry! The PTO will be publishing winning ticket numbers for
all unclaimed baskets on the school’s Virtual Backpack Webpage
and on PTO Facebook by Monday, February 2. In addition, if
you write your name and telephone number on the back of your
dropped tickets, the PTO will contact you if you are a winner!
There are pens in the school lobby for your use.
With so many great Baskets to place, we appreciate your patience as we call all winning numbers. Thank you!
For Winterfest:
In the School Cafeteria, the PTO has arranged the following
entertainment:
6:00—7:00 PM Brian Richards’ s Magic
There will be two 25 minute magic shows performed using the
same content. We encourage families to view one show and
then visit the auction and concession before 7:00 PM.
7:00—7:45 PM Tales of the Wild and Wallaby Tales,
Rescued Animals Show
There will be a 45 minute rescued animal show. We ask all students and children to follow the direction of the performers in
regards to the animals. Thank you.
7:45—9:00 PM Dance with DJ Gary Giaretta
Enjoy Uptown Funk and all of today’s most popular music!
There will also be a Plinko Game for children and families to
play in Winterfest. Good luck!
Concession:
Lastly, the PTO has arranged a Concession Area where you can
buy Pizza, Baked Goods, Drinks, and Candy. According to
school policy, please keep all food items in and around the concession area, as we cannot allow food items into the gym.
