Oliver’s Choice 100% Angus Beef
Filet Mignon
Make your next meal a special occasion with
Oliver’s Choice 100% Angus Filet Mignon.
Filet Mignon is French for “tender fillet”
or “dainty fillet”. This sought after cut of
beef is taken from the smaller end of the
tenderloin. The tenderloin (not to be
confused with the short loin) is usually
harvested as two long snake-shaped cuts
of beef. When sliced along the short
dimension, creating roughly round
cuts, and tube cuts, the cuts (fillets)
from the small forward end are
considered to be filet mignon.
We carry Rocky free range and
Rosie organic chickens from
Petaluma Poultry. They have been
providing fresh local chicken to
the west coast since 1920 and still continue their
hatchery, feed mill and packaging operations
throughout Sonoma County, California from
Santa Rosa to Petaluma.
The beef tenderloin is the

In 1972 Steve Maass and his wife, Ruth
Maass, began selling produce from off the
back of a truck in San Francisco, CA. They
converted an old Coca-Cola truck into a
mobile fruit stand which became a retail
phenomenon every summer at Taraval and
Dewey streets. The stand was so successful
that they hired valets to park cars and the
stand was featured on “Eye on San Francisco” and “Good Morning America.” Later
in 1988 we moved to Sonoma county
and opened Oliver’s Market.

a very thin rind. Inside, the melon is a deep,
crimson red color and has an ultra-sweet
flavor -- similar to the heart of a full-size
watermelon. PureHeart represents the best
of a watermelon: the rich color, the juicy,
delicious flavor, but with a thin rind like a
cantaloupe so there’s no waste. Each melon
is enough to serve two adults or about four

Aperol is the perfect aperitif, thanks to the secret
recipe, which has never been changed, with infusions of selected ingredients including bitter and
sweet oranges and many other herbs and roots
in perfect proportion. Making an Aperol Spritz is
as easy as 3-2-1! 3 parts Prosecco, (on sale this
week!), 2 parts Aperol, and 1 splash of soda. Put
ice in a glass then pour in the Prosecco, Aperol
and add a splash of soda,
