Message from our CEO…
Our community continues to be one of the best neighborhoods
in the City to live in. We have top rated restaurants; quality
homes at affordable prices; a diverse and vibrant elementary
school; and several churches with active outreach programs.
We invite you to visit our community and share in its many
pleasures.
Believe in your community!

Quality of Life…
·
We are pleased to announce a motion camera installed by the City on Quail Street has
significantly deterred illegal dumping.
·
Thru the Greektown CDC’s effort and with help from our residents, the City’s Code Enforcement Unit issued 357 citations for 2012.
·
The Greektown CDC encourages homeowners to call 911 immediately when witnessing a
crime and 311 for non emergency calls (trash, rats, illegal dumping, etc.).
·
On April, 25, 2013 the Mayor’s Spring Clean Up brought together many residents who
cleaned up our community. We thank those who participated.
Gloria Hertzfelt Playground was dedicated to longstanding Greektown advocate Ms. Gloria. The playground is located on Gough and Lehigh Street.
The Greektown CDC Back to School event was held for children in our community. We
were able to supply 35 children with back packs and other school supplies to begin their
school year. An event made possible by a grant from the Baltimore Municipal
Employees Credit Union and the Baltimore Office of Promotion of the Arts.

Housing...
Kettler " O'Donnell Square" homes had their grand opening in May 2012. The development has been a great addition
to our neighborhood, adding beautiful new homes and homeowners to the community. This economic boost to our
community is why we have been recognized as one of the City's most resilient community's during these tough economic times.
On April 25, 2013 we hosted a Live Near Your Work tour for Johns
Hopkins employees which highlights some newly renovated homes in
our community.
We created a Landlord Reality program which provides information
such as eviction process, sample leases, sanitation requirements, etc.
