Did you know?...
We are the only
supermarket
to hang our
bananas in
store to ensure
they reach
you in perfect
condition.
4 easy steps...
1.Place the biscuits in a polythene
bag and using the flat end of
a rolling pin, hammer gently
until you have small crumbs (if
preferred you can do this stage in
a food processor).

2.Melt the sunflower spread in a pan
and stir in the biscuit crumbs, mix
well until evenly coated then press
into the base and up the sides of a
20cm loose bottom round flan tin.
Chill for at least 1 hour until firm.
3.Heat the custard with the sugar
and just over half the pack of
unwrapped toffees in a small
non-stick pan over a very low heat
until toffees have melted into
the custard, don’t leave the pan
unattended and stir frequently.
Beat in the soft cheese.
Spoon into prepared flan tin
and chill for 3 hours.
4.When ready to serve, gently
melt the remaining toffees with
the milk in a small pan stirring
constantly until you have a smooth
sauce. Peel and slice the bananas
and arrange over the top of the
flan, drizzle with the melted
toffees sauce and serve cut into
wedges.
