A New Start
Redemption through Christ Jesus gave us a new start with God
Almighty. [Ephesians 1:7]
It
’s time for a New
Start. A new start
is what Jesus gave
us on the cross. Redemption
through Christ Jesus gave us a
new start with God Almighty.
[Ephesians 1:7] He paid the
price that was required in order that we might be released
from being in bondage to sin.
God’s divine grace gave us
undeserved love and favor
with Himself (and I am ever
so grateful). As we enter into
this New Season our necks
should be outstretched with
expectations, looking for God
to do new things in our lives,
family, ministry, etc.
The past season is gone and
we serve a God which makes
a way in the sea and a path in
the mighty waters. [Isaiah
43:16] Who do you know
that can split the sea and allow you to walk on dry
ground? He did it before and
He can do it again. In verse
18-19, He tells us to remember not the former things, neither consider the things of
old. Behold I (not you or me)
but God will do a new thing;
now it shall spring forth; shall
ye not know it? The NIV
says, “It is beginning to happen even now. Don’t you see
it coming?” I will even make
a way in the wilderness and
rivers in the desert (sounds
like new to me). God wants to
do new things for His people,
but can we perceive it, will
we be aware of what He is
about to do? 2 Corinthians
5:17-18 says, “if anyone is in

in the flow with God and experience newness of life, we

You Were Born To
Teach Hell A lesson

T
here are those in the
church that have projected a separate but
equal disposition when it comes to
who should and should not be
anointed. There are those who will
make you feel the fullness of the
spirit is reserved for only a select
few. But the truth is, the fullness
of the spirit is God’s will for each
of us. That is a part of the total
plan of God for each of his children, it is the redemptive
plan of Christ. It is not a special
deluxe edition of Christianity but
the God-given blessing, birth rite,
privilege and responsibility of
every Christian. Living a supernatural life should be normal for
the New Testament Believer. The
problem is that so many of us have
settled for a life that is below the
high call of God in Christ Jesus
[Philippians 3:13] A great
preacher of the 20th Century
wrote, “The Christian is so subnormal that if we ever got back to
normal (spirit-filled living) the
world would think we were abnormal.” The dynamic results of a
spirit filled life was a reoccurring
theme in the book of Acts. Why?
Because there is a need for God’s
divine strength, not to escape sin
and problems but rather to go in
and dominate and overcome them.
The practical goal of a believer
should be progressing toward his
spiritual maturity ad becoming the
sons of God. Advancing to live in
the now of God is not solely based
on the gifts we receive from the
spirit but the life we live by the
fruit we manifest in the spirit.
[Galatians 5:21-23]
A Spirit Controlled Life
The problem with receiving the
fullness of this as predicted by
R.A. Torrey, “if you think you can
live without it you will never have
it.” The plight for too many Christians is to live a life that is powerless when it comes to being Christ
-like in their actions and attitudes.
This work of making us holy and
more like Christ has been put on
hold while many of us go after the
more sensational and miraculous
aspects of this new life in Christ.
It appears many in the church
have made Christ-likeness a minor
concern while making obtaining
hope in this world a major concern. In doing so they have like
Paul said, “pierced themselves
through with many sorrows.” [1
Timothy 6:10]
The impartation of God’s spirit
was primarily given that we may
be more like Jesus and become his
witnesses. [Roman 8:29, Acts 1:8]
God had one message. The way he
started in the garden is the way he
is going to end in time. He started
with a perfect man and he is going
to end with a perfect man, in his
image and his likeness. We still
have his image of form, but what
we have lost is likeness or functionality. That is why day by day
we are learning to be like Jesus.
[Psalm 17:15] That is the destination of every person who names
the name of Christ. [Romans 8:20]
In the early Christian writings
there was a writer of Syrian tradition who wrote a man is always
tempted at his “strongest
point.” This is totally opposite
from what we were always taught19
Jesus did say, love thy neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:39
The Bible informs us, where you are weak,
then are you strong. [2 Corinthians 12:10]

today, that you are tempted at your
weakest point not your strongest.
Prove it, Eve was tempted when
the serpent said, “if you eat there
of...ye shall be as God.” [Genesis
3:5] The truth of the matter was
they were already like God.
Therefore man was tempted with
his strength not his weakness. Remember when the devil tempts
you, he is aiming at your strongest
point. The Bible informs us, where
you are weak, then are you strong.
[2 Corinthians 12:10] So let the
weak say, I am strong. [Joel 3:10]
Again, whatever the area the enemy attacks you is a good indicator of the area that God has behind
the scene confirmed he was going
to bless you.
The psalmist wrote, God has laid
the foundation and boundary that
they may not pass over. [Psalm
104:5-9] God has sons on the
earth, people whose main purpose
for creation is to be like him. God
then places these individuals in
situations to reveal his manifold
wisdom. [Ephesians 3:10] Why?
Not so they can get delivered, but
so they can teach the situation that
which God says don’t touch, ever
you are not allowed to touch.
Daniel 3:16 –20,25 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered
and said to the king, O
Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

four men loose, walking in the
midst of the fire, and they have no
hurt; and the form of the fourth

God did not put them in the fire to
solely deliver them, but the fire
needed a quick class. These boys
were born to teach the fire that
there are some people you are not
allowed to consume. Noah taught
the flood, before Jonah showed
up, there are some people you are
not allowed to drown. Joseph
taught the jail, before Peter was
locked up, there are some people
you can not keep bound. Daniel
landed in the lions den, there are
some people you are not allowed
to devour. There are some trials
you go through that were not for

you to get delivered, but God put
his spirit of truth on you to teach
that situation who is the boss. It is
time for the body of Christ to arise
and let the devil know there is a
church that is not going to give up
and not going to backslide. God is
releasing on his chosen a double
dose of the Holy Ghost, as they
will declare we can do all things
through Christ who strengthens us.

One of the biblical titles of Jesus
was Master or Teacher [Matthew
23:8] He constantly went about
teaching his pilgrimage here on
earth, both figuratively and literally. Two thousand years ago on
his way to the cross Jesus taught
this world some of the greatest
lessons ever. Jesus taught the water it had a license to change to
wine. [John 2:1-11] He taught the
unclean spirits they could not stay
where they wanted. [Mark 1:2328] Jesus taught the fever that
there are some people that it could
not kill. [Mark 1:30-31] He taught
leprosy that there are some people
it could not consume. [Mark 1:4045] Jesus taught death there are
some little girls he could not have
before there time. [Matthew 9:1826] He taught the women’s issue
of blood that you cannot flow in
certain people. [Luke 8:43-48]

Jesus taught the two fish and five
loaves that provision cannot run
out until certain people are fed.
[Matthew 14:15-20] He taught
blindness that there are some eyes
you cannot close. [John 9:1-38]
But the greatest lesson he ever
taught was one Friday night
around two thousand years ago.
Jesus was delivered to be crucified
in a place called Golgotha. There
on a cross he died a hideous death;
death thought he won. They then
placed his pierced body in the
borrowed tomb of Joseph of Arimathgea, and the grave thought it
won. But after three days Jesus
rose from the dead with all power
in his hands. [Luke 24:5-6] Jesus
taught the grave there will be
those you will never be victorious
over. [1Corinthians 15:55-57]
Thank God Jesus was born, and
better yet that he is born again in
you and me, to forever teach hell a
lesson. Jesus is Lord! Glory to
God!

Moses said to the heads of the tribes of Israel: “this is what the Lord commands: 2 When a man makes a
vow to the Lord or takes an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do
everything he said. [Numbers 30: 1-2]
This message, explores the many facets of our lives where we a called to enter into solemn
vows. Whether a vow to our country, companion, children, church, or to Christ, these commitments are precious in the sight of the Lord. Let us look at the definition of the words pledge and
allegiance; A pledge is a solemn binding promise to do, give, or refrain from doing something.
Allegiance signifies the loyalty or the obligation of loyalty, as to a nation, sovereign, or cause.
Our pledge tells the witnessing parties we have the capacity for the assignment; it suggests we
are sincere regarding our commitment to remain loyal. In other words, a pledge says you are
able to perform the task! Remember your pledge to Christ, to the church, to your children, your
companion, and your country and do all that you have set out to do.
Pledge of Allegiance
Numbers 30:1-2
I. To my Country
A. Fifty-six men signed Declaration of Independence two hundred thirty-seven
years ago
B. Men who put their money and life on the line for their country
II. To my Companion
A. To love and to cherish
B. Sickness and in health – for as long as we shall live
C. Better or for worse
III. To My Children
A. To protect with my life
B. To tell them the truth- to love them regardless
C. Never forsake them
D. Show them the way to God and the ways of God
IV. To My Church
A. Show spiritual and moral support
B. Offer financial support
C. Display faithfulness
D. Teach the doctrines of church
V. To Christ
A. To go – where ever
B. To do – what ever
C. To be – want he wants me to be
