President’s Letter
To our Members:

NCCC President
It is with great pride that I announce that the 26th Annual NCCC
Golf Outing was the best ever! I want to thank Power of More
staff and Ray Frank for their hard work putting this golf tournament together and the Golf Committee members for volunteering their time to make this event so successful year after year.
They did a fabulous job! Special thanks goes to all the Board
members for having nearly 100 percent participation in selling
all of their golf ball drop tickets. Our sponsors are a key factor in
allowing us to award almost $5,000 each year to three local
high school seniors. We estimate year-to-date the Chamber
has awarded approximately 100K to these students.
Besides golfing events, we have two fun-filled Business After Hours events
scheduled in July and August. In July, plan on attending An Evening in the Falls
on July 14 and the 100th Bomb Group on the Observation Deck on July 27. Hor
d’oeuvres will be provided with a cash bar. If you haven’t been to one of the POM
Business After Hours events, you will be pleasantly surprised. It is the best place
to meet some new people while enjoying some wonderful food.
In August, mark your calendars for two more POM Business After Hours — at
Bistro 83 on August 10 and Felix & Oscars on August 17. There is still plenty of
summer left; please make time to enjoy the weather to golf, network, and spend
time with those dear to your heart!
And lastly, I hope you weren’t closed out of the NCCC Golf outing. If you were, there are
still openings for the August 8th Power of More Golf Outing at Avon Oaks Country Club.
