meet our own standards of excellence. Our quality goal is to continually improve everything we do
in an effort to exceed your expectations in your vacation experience.
We encourage you to let us know of anything, large or small, that we can do to make your
vacation more enjoyable. We promise that no matter what your needs might be, we will listen and
then do everything in our power to satisfy you. Please contact Guest Services at extension 1293 if

hour before the activity begins. A 50% refund will be given if cancelled within an hour of an activity. No refund will be given
after the activity has begun.
Inclement Weather: The following procedures have been developed for the protection of our Guests and Employees in
the event of inclement weather conditions.
Smugglers’ Notch Resort employs the following systems in order to detect severe weather: National Weather Service broadcast
system, Cambridge Rescue Squad Alert System, WINS Meterologix Alert System, and observation. Once a weather alert has been
received by Smugglers’ staff, all guest services with exposure to weather conditions will be suspended for at least thirty minutes,
and all outdoor facilities, including pools and hot tubs, will be closed during that period.
When the thirty minute period has passed without additional alerts, the facilities will be reopened. If another inclement weather
alert occurs within the thirty minute time period, the thirty minute period will start again from the point of detection.
Please see specific activity descriptions for further details of alternate locations for activities during inclement
weather conditions.

Safety & Emergencies
Smoke Detectors
If your smoke detector goes off due to cooking, steamy showers or burned toast, etc., please… DO NOT TAMPER WITH
THE DETECTOR. Call Maintenance at extension 1158 and a technician will be dispatched immediately to repair your
detector. These detectors are wired directly into the Fire Department and tampering with them causes a safety problem
for the guests in the rest of your building.
In Case of Fire
Most buildings are equipped with interior fire alarm pull stations. When pulled, they will automatically notify the Fire
Department. Also, each home is equipped with local smoke detectors for your added protection. Should the fire alarm in
your building go off, please evacuate at once and remain outside until the alarm has been silenced. Please do not tamper
with the fire alarms or extinguishers.
Medical Emergencies
In the event of a medical emergency, pick up a condominium or “house” phone and DIAL 911 or dispatch someone to
The Guest Service Desk. Relay all available information including location and patient’s current condition. The following
phone numbers assume you are calling from a condominium or “house” phone. If you are dialing from a pay phone,
there is no need to dial 9 before the numbers listed below. All 911 calls can be dialed directly from any phone.

boundaries of Smugglers’ Notch Resort.
Our Drug and Alcohol Policy
Smugglers’ Notch is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our guests. Therefore, it is the policy of
