First we cross the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka Pass of the High Atlas mountains.
You will pass through many
Berber villages, and once in the
desert, riverside oasis and
barren hillsides are clustered
with Kasbahs. After lunch we
drive further to Zagora. with
beautiful views of the Draa
Valley. We will arive there
around 4 and afr.er a short break
you will ride camels into the
dunes, where you will spend the
night in berber tents. After seeing a beautiful sunset you will enjoy a fantastic
dinner

After viewing the most
beautiful sunrise and having
breakfast at the camp site
you will ride the camels back
to the auberge. Drive back to
Marrakech, again via Tichka
pass. You will arrive in

Dav 01:
Depafture time :7 :15 am
Transfer to V/orld Heritage Site of Ait
Benhaddou backdrop for more than 20
films, crossing the spectacular Tizi
n'Tichka Pass of the High Atlas
mountains. You will pass through many
Berber villages, and once in the desert,
riverside oasis and barren hillsides are
clustered with Kasbahs (fortified
dwellings that hous e many families and
their livestock). Transport to Valley of the Roses, Moroccan dinner and evening
at a typical small hotel with beautiful views of the Dades valley, valley of a
thousand kasbahs. Overnight in Dades.
Dav 02:
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from
the Dades Valley to Todra Gorge: a
massive fault dividing the High Atlas
mountains, rising to 300 m in a narrow
valley with palmer ies and Berber
villages. After lunch you will transport
further into the desert to th e tiny
village of Mersouga, where you will
overnight camel trek into the beautiful
Erg Chebbi dunes the highest in
Morocco. One and a half hour camel
ride at sunset to a Berber dinner and sleep under the stars or in tents at a desert
camp.

Views of sunrise in the desert by camel and return to Merzouga. Depart for
evening arrival in Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains.

4 Days 3 nights Erg Chebbi
& Zagora desert tour
*Itinerary:
Depafture time :7 :15 am
Day 1:
This Morocco desert tour departs from
Marrakech at07:20hrs in a modern, air
conditioned Handai Hl or a 4x4 . We
travel over the Atlas Mountains,
enjoying the magnificent views of the
surrounding countryside below and we
visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.
This journey takes approx 2 andhall
hours.
From there,after our break, we continue
to Ouarzazate (approx t hour or so) for
lunch break.
Lunch is available in the local Restaurants.
After lunch, we continue along the route of The Dades Valley to reach our guesthouse where
we will stay for the night.
The guesthouse offers Private ensuite rooms and an evening meal and breakfast are included.

The next morning we continue along the Dades valley, visiting Dades Gorge, Todra Gorge
and other interesting sites, making
our way to Merzouga.
At Merzouga we explore the village
and meet our Camels who will take
us for I and a half hours into the
Dunes to reach our desert camp at
Erg Chebbi.
Each person rides their own Camel
and additional Camels are provided
to carry your luggage.
The Camel trek is usually just prior
to sunset, so that you may enjoy the
sun setting over the landscape from
the top of the Dunes.
Once we arrive at the Erg Chebbi Desert camp, we are greeted with a cup of delicious hot
minty tea and we spend the evening under the stars, on the dunes and beside the warmth of the
fireside.
We enjoy a locally cooked meal of Tagine and couscous (vegetarians are catered for with
vegetable tagine), a drum party and story swapping.
The camp does have washing and toilet facilities.
Those that wish to can sleep directly.under the stars, but there are Bivouacs for everyone.
The stars in the desert are a great opportunity to see as their are no artifîcial lights around and
you can fully appreciate the glory ofthe skies above.
Dav 3:
The next day, we take our camels for the return journey
back to Merzouga. After our exploration of the village
of Merzouga, we head today to Zagoru, visiting many
sights. We then join our Camels for a I hour trek into
the Dunes to find our desert camp for the night"
Evening meal and breakfast and accommodation in private Berber tents is our accommodation
for the night.
Or possibly stay in hotel with swimming pool.
Dav 4:
traditional Berber breakfast, just prior to sunrise, we have a Two hour camel ride at
sunrise to explore the area further and we head back to Zagora on our Camels.
When we reach Zagora, we have the opportunity to wash and then we begin our journey
the beautiful Draa valley to Ouarzazate and over the Atlas mountains, with plenty of
stops for photos, exploring and lunch, to
Marrakech.
