A hardcore fashionista, Amal Azhari proudly flaunts style and elegance through vividly colored high end kaftans and snakeskin
clutches that proudly carry her insignia. A fashion designer with haunting jet-black eyes and a sturdy character to match, whose
label now figures in various chic boutiques in Lebanon and elsewhere, she emanates an aura of dynamism and ambition.
It has been three years since “Amal Azhari” is in the fashion business. During that period, she has successfully expanded her
business and today her products are carried by selective boutiques and malls in Beirut and across the Middle East including:
- Harvey Nichols (Dubai and Riyadh)
- Boutique 1 (Beirut and Dubai)
- Taten (Beirut)
- Saks Fifth Avenue (Riyadh)
- Balcon des Créateurs (Beirut)
She also supplies a select number of items to small boutiques in Saint-Tropez, Juan-les-Pins and Los Angeles.
Her first catwalk show staged in the posh Faraya heights was nothing but success. The exhibition, entitled “Cruise collection”.
It was held at the Mzaar Intercontinental resort. Amal owes her success to her distinctive style, a well-balanced mixture of
extravagance, gaiety and vividness. Her creations are often a refined patchwork of details and patterns manipulated with a high
sense of taste and elegance.
Armed with high-quality Italian and Indian textiles, Amal Azhari now has her own line of textiles, colors and motifs that she
manufactures in Beirut, aptly branded “Amal Azhari”. Garments that are comfy and practical, styled with a hint of orientalism
remixed “à la western”.
This charming nonconformist is also a dedicated sports-woman whose hobbies encompass skiing and horse back riding.
