Warm Greetings. We sure have all been enjoying these mild, blue sky days of fall. As the growing season is put
to bed for the winter we are busy transforming the Garden Barn into another warm and exciting place to shop
for unique, fun and thoughtful treasures for you and the special people in your life. We celebrated our 40th
Birthday this summer with many old friends and new and look forward to seeing you all again this holiday season.
Christmas lunches begin Tuesday December 1st through December 18th. Be sure to call for your reservation.
Fun and easy Holiday workshops are scheduled and are a wonderful way to connect with friends during this busy
season. Live greens and wreaths will arrive Thanksgiving week so your decorating can begin! Stop in now to find
something new to jazz up your Thanksgiving table or find a spooky decoration for Halloween. All Halloween items
are 30% off through Oct. 31st. Happy Holidays to all!

We encourage you to invite friends or family to join you for good food and fellowship at a Quailcrest

Rosemary Cashews
Enjoy this delicious treat, a recipe from Elaine Arnold, a good friend and exhibitor at our
Fairs for many, many years!
1 lb. roasted, unsalted cashews
2 T. minced, fresh rosemary leaves
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper, or less
If desired
2 tsp. light brown sugar
1 T. kosher salt
1 T. butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread cashews out on a sheet pan and toast in the oven until
warm, about 5 minutes. In a large bowl, combine rosemary, cayenne, sugar, salt and butter.
Thoroughly toss the warm cashews with the spiced butter and serve warm Cashews are
also good when cooled.
