All Aging Stained shingles use PPG/Olympic® weathering stain or bleaching oil, and both treatments provide waterproofing and mildew resistance. • We use PPG/Olympic® stain. • High-performance roller system stains 100 percent of surface area. • Infrared dryers dry the shingles from inside out for better stain penetration. Bardobec’s natural cedar shingles are divided into four categories, depending on the quality required by the customer. The quality of the cedar shingles determines their best use. For the opaque stains, we back the stain for 10/25 years, and the wood for 30 years.
