Ouray Brokers Real Estate Blog The real estate market in Ouray County continues to improve. I've recently put properties under contract and I'm negotiating others. That is encouraging since Spring is usually a quiet time of the year. There are some great buys and unique properties newly listed that I am an exclusive agent for in the county. MARKET ANALYSIS: The first quarter sales statistics are available from the Montrose Association of Realtors. It is encouraging that when you compare the first quarter of 2014 to 2013 we see that the median sales price for Ouray properties is up 9.5% and the average sales price is up a whopping 17.6%! We'll see if that continues. The number of sold listings has increased 15.4%. Also, the “days on the market until sold” is down by 27.3% from 2013.
