Julianna Rose Shulstad Benefit
Julianna Rose Shulstad
Benefit
On February 3, 2015 Julianna Shulstad (31
years old) of Hawley, MN experienced an
unexpected medical event. After being treated
in Fargo for a day, she was transferred to the
University of Minnesota in Minneapolis for a
diagnosis, treatment and therapy. The teams of
doctors were only able to narrow the cause to
have likely been a Spinal Cord Stroke,
paralyzing her from mid-chest and down.
Spinal Cord Strokes are a rare condition - less
than 1.25% of all strokes. Prognosis for this
type of injury/medical event is uncertain.
Recovery is typically slow and lengthy, with
long term effects including physical problems
and varying degrees of paralysis. Julianna is
married to Matthew (6 years) and together
they have a son, Ian (3 years old). Please come and support the Shulstad family with their ongoing medical expenses,
travel expenses and continuing treatments and needs for Julianna. All proceeds will go to this strong and positive family
to help them through this life changing journey.
