Child IDs are created using the EZ Child I.D. System, the nation’s most comprehensive digital fingerprinting child identification system. Created with help from the National CHIP foundation and law enforcement officials, this system ensures that the digital fingerprints meet industry standards by capturing all vital information required by the Amber Alert system. In only 3 to 5 minutes, a Child I.D. card is printed for each parent or guardian free of charge. Child I.D. cards feature a child’s photo, fingerprints, contact information and other pertinent information needed by the police in case of an emergency. Children must be accompanied by a guardian and no information is electronically retained. It is automatically erased upon printing. Search for: “TownWalk at Hamden Hills” It’s that time of the year again, so we thought we would take the time to go over a few of the most important rules to remember when enjoying the pools. 1) Possibly the most important rule is NO GLASS. Everyone walks around barefoot at the pool and no one wants to have to go to the emergency room because they sliced their foot open on a shard of glass. 2) You must have your Rec Pass on you at all times. We cannot possibly know each and every one of the 1500 residents that live here. It might be an inconvenience to have to remember to bring your pass, but it would be more of an inconvenience if you could never have a spot at the pool because all of Hamden was here. 3) You must accompany your guests. They cannot come to our pool while you are at work. 4) NO SMOKING. All of our common areas are non-smoking and this includes the pools. 5) The pools are open daily (weather permitting) from 9am-9pm. 6) There are no lifeguards on duty, all children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Check your A/C unit to make sure it is blowing out cold air before it gets super hot. If it is not working properly contact the Resident Services office. If you wait until it’s really hot (like most people do) you will likely have a longer wait time until it is fixed. If you refer a friend, co-worker or family member to Town Walk and they mention you on their first visit you will receive a $350 referral bonus after they move in. You must be a current resident to receive the resident referral bonus. Offer can expire/change anytime without notice. See leasing office for details. Visitor parking spots are clearly labeled with YELLOW LINES, if you have a guests come visit you they must have yellow parking lines on BOTH SIDES of their car or else they are subject to being towed. We installed new gas grills at the WEST POOL and they will be open seasonally. Grill utensils will be available to borrow at the Rec Office, you will need to leave your ID and return them washed. You will be fined $25 for every bag of trash you leave outside your apartment or beside the trash compactor. If you are going to have a guest visiting you for any length of time please have them put the apartment number they are visiting on their dash so in the event we need to have the vehicle moved for maintenance/tree removal purposes we know who to contact and don’t have to tow the vehicle.
