General Notes and Rules
- Advance Registration is required.
- Rules and penalties as per current 2016 IPSC Handgun Rule Book, & IPSC BC House Rules.
- You must Register at the clubhouse between 7:30 am – 8:15 am. Competitors must be on stages by 8:15am.
(Shooting starts at 8:30am SHARP!)
- Canadian competitors must be IPSC Canada Members, and passed a Black Badge Course.
- As a condition of entry, competitors will be required to work the match.
- Due to range and/or weather conditions, distances and actual layout may vary.
- Brass picking will be allowed, time permitting.
- One or more Safety Areas will be designated. No handling of ammunition is allowed in the safety areas.
- It is each competitor’s responsibility to have their loads chronographed through their own gun. Eight rounds are
required.
- All paper no-shoot targets will be white unless otherwise specified.
- Targets indicating hard cover will be painted black.
- All competitors and spectators must wear hearing and eye protection while on the range.
- All steel shoot targets will be painted white.
- Arbitration fee is $100.00, payable with an arbitration form.
- No alcoholic beverages will be allowed until shooting is completed for the day, and approval from the Range
Master.
- Lunch will be available. XXXXX Mobile Catering will have a selection of foods which you can buy.
- Awards as per latest version of the IPSC BC house rules, and will be based on the entries received by July 1,
2016.

Travelling north from Victoria, turn right onto Holker place. Follow the road to the yellow gates at the left
side of the road. Enter through the gates, and turn right at the sign-in booth, and follow the road (which makes a
quick left….) to the Multi-purpose range. It is about a kilometer down the gravel road.
If you are travelling south from Duncan, the Highway is divided and you are unable to make a left turn onto
Holker. You must drive past Holker about 2.8 kilometers, and use the left-turn lane into the Malahat Chalet/
Moon Water Lodge parking lot to turn around, and then proceed north to Holker.
When leaving the range, to return south to Victoria, you must go north on Highway 1, about two kilometers, to a
turn-around area on your right. This will allow you to cross an oncoming lane of north-bound traffic, and merge
into traffic going south…. (this is a ‘NEW’ highway “improvement” to make the road safer…..) (your personal
email to Minister Todd Stone with your opinion of these “improvements” would be appreciated….)
