Paddle Raise
During this evening’s live auction, you will be given
the opportunity to contribute to the Kate Scott Campership
Fund. These donations are used for scholarships to help low
-income children participate in Camp Kirby day and resident
camps.
The auctioneer will ask those of you who wish to
make a donation to raise your bid number. We will then
record the amount of your pledge.

Going to summer camp is an experience that every
child deserves. Camp Kirby has a small, family-like
camping environment that provides campers with individual
attention and the opportunity to experience new things.
Activities include: archery, climbing wall, arts and crafts,
boating, science and nature, games, and team building.
Campers build friendships and memories that truly last a
lifetime.
Please know that with your donation, Camp Fire
Samish and Camp Kirby will continue to share the Camp
Fire promise with youth in our communities. “Young people

Miniature Donkeys, one of the most prestigious miniature

Silent Auction Procedures
A bid sheet will be displayed with each item.
Bids can be entered by writing your bid number
next to the pre-printed amount on each bid sheet.
Each bid legally obligates the bidder to pay in full
the amount listed if his or her bid is deemed to be
the winning bid. After a section closes, the bid
sheets will be given to the staff at registration.
We are offering an Express Bidder option
when you check in. Guests will be given an
Express Bidder card to pick up items after the
auction, no need to stand in the checkout line. A
list of Silent Items you have won will be delivered
to your table during dinner detailing your silent
auction purchases. Express Bidders can take that
card to pick up auction items, bypassing the
cashier line. If you are purchasing by cash or
check, please pay before retrieving your items.
