Over the past 60 years, Byrnes High School has undergone various renovations and additions. In May of 2015, the school began a construction project to help accommodate
growth in District Five. This construction includes rerouting the bus ramp, renovating the
original gymnasium, and connecting buildings to improve safety.
Due to this construction, some areas of the campus (particularly around the gymnasium,
athletic field house, and Nixon Field) will be temporarily inaccessible. We will try our best
to ease the inconvenience for visiting teams and fans. (See “Where We Play” section for
more information.) Thank you, in advance, for your patience as we work through these
renovations.
