COLLECTION ‘17
Sakura and Orange Blossom
The arrival of the flower is celebrated with great emotion in many
countries such as Japan, with its Hanami, famous by celebrate sakura birth
(also called cherry blossom), the Flower Festival in Medellín, the Chelsea
flower show, as well as the Córdoba month of May, or month of flowers.
This last celebration has been an inspiration to the designer Ana Torres for
her new collection Spring-Summer 2017, where we can observe a
contrast between urban design and vegetation, with many floral prints,
which imbue clothes a sense of calm and serenity, arising from a mixing
color palette which includes magenta, red aurora, iced coffee or snorkel
blue. Persuasive but soft colors that move us to a serene sunset or an
emerging flower.
CARLA RUIZ was established 10 years ago by Rocío Ruiz, who, at the young
age of 35, has presented her creations on some of Spain’s most prestigious

the latest trends.
CARLA RUIZ offers an aesthetic harmony of colors, fabrics, and shapes for
the woman who values and appreciates originality and distinction.

national and international; and it participates in the industry’s best

the Barcelona Bridal Week.
The creative and innovative spirit of the entire staff has enabled CARLA
RUIZ to position itself as one of the fashion industry’s leading brands in
party, cocktail, and celebration attire.
COLLECTION ’17
Palais Royal
CARLA RUIZ presents “Palais Royal,” a Baroque-inspired collection that
captures the sumptuousness of the period and its palatial decor.
That era of luxury and ostentation, when the worth of women’s clothing
was measured by the exquisiteness of its patterns, cuts, and fabrics, is
reflected in luxurious brocade, embroidery, and jacquard. Majestic women
in voluminous gowns, with well-defined shoulders and trimmings of
aristocratic capes, lace, and transparencies, remind us of the opulence of
the time.
The palette centers on the golden ornamentation that overspreads the
fabrics, bands, and appliqués. Also characteristic of the era are the colors
of precious stones, from emerald green to ruby red, with black, one of the
period’s most formal colors, used as a finishing touch.
CRISTINA TAMBORERO is a breakout designer of wedding and party
fashion. This young entrepreneur has quickly established herself with a
most solid proposal for the brides of today: women who demand a
contemporary and romantic style for the most important day of their lives.
Her passion for fashion and concern for the smallest of details have
inspired her to design her precious dresses, which she does with the thrill
of making her dreams into reality with needle, thimble, and thread. The
unbridled creativity that this young designer pours into her creations is
projected in every piece of her work.
Her collection captures woman’s femininity through the detail, purity, and
quality of her couture. With their clean contours and deep romanticism,
her simple designs envelop and beautify the woman, bringing out the best
in her.
CRISTINA TAMBORERO’s craftsmanship reflects her philosophy as a
designer, giving great importance to finishing touches and placing
emphasis on the smallest and most painstaking details to create dream
dresses in the finest of fabrics with exquisite hand embroidery.
COLLECTION ’17
Eden
This collection is inspired by the Garden of Eden and its scenery.
The modest necklines symbolize the innocence of Adam and Eve, while the
transparencies and open backs recall the only fashion known in the
Garden of Eden: the nude.
Short skirts bear the forbidden fruit with an airy volume and tight-fitting
contours and transparencies that expose the woman’s body.
These dresses are designed for the modern woman whose individual
beauty is the main ingredient.
Mirage
The new party collection, Mirage, is inspired by the desert, specifically the
Rajasthan Desert in the north of India.
An explosion of color in navy blue, intense yellow, reds, and oranges
reminds us of the beautiful saris of India, and the starry nights of the
desert are depicted with hand-embroidered gemstones.
Diaphanous skirts ripple like the wind that runs down the natural
channels of the dunes, their waistlines ringed with hoops of graphite and
rose, white, and yellow gold like the countless bracelets that adorn the
wrists and ankles of Hindu women.
Crafted with superior fabrics, meticulous finishing, and elaborate patterns,
these powerful dresses are designed for women with character, elegance,
and attitude.
The story could begin by “Once upon a time, three sisters named Evelyne,
Chantal and Monique, had decided to start a revolution in the bridal
fashion.
CYMBELINE is now one of the most famous companies in Europe and

introduced ivory as a new colour which was softer than optical white, they

Their designs are made for the modern, sensual, chic city woman.
CYMBELINE is represented in many cities worldwide through their own

Gala NO.2
GALA No.2 is a pure-love-for-nature collection. When you’re ready for love,
you let yourself fall and flourish in the light and wilderness of your
emotions. That’s the way mother nature is once you let her in... Inspired by
the serenity and beauty of Isola Bella (Also known as The Pearl of the
Ionian Sea), an Island, a nature reserve, gifted to Taormina, Sicily, from
King Ferdinand the 1st of the two Sicilies. GALA no. 2 is designed for the
trendy and jaunty bride, who wishes to pamper herself with a high fashion
made dress and keep that spontaneous-character-vibe going on. You’ll
meet a combination of warm palette colors and delicate vintage lace, like
the french guipure, bursts of earth-tones colors and a hint of Edwardian
silhouettes.

bridal fashion sector for more than 17 years and managed to achieve a
firm, stable market position that has led her to become well established in

international expansion of the firm, and she plans to continue to make this
her priority in 2016.

COLLECTION ’17
Hanami
INMACULADA GARCÍA has attempted to transmit the same delicacy and
elegance in her new Bridal gown collection.
Because of her passion for fabrics and design, her creations are always
harmonious, and the dresses adopt a leading role, the result of which
makes them exquisite.
The main feature of her 2017 Collection is its purity, fluidity and vaporous
quality, which continues to be evident in her three lines: My Couture – My
Essentials – My Secrets.
This year, there is a clearer difference between all three lines: My Couture
is the most haute couture and elegant, My Essentials emanates
romanticism and simplicity and My Secrets conveys absolute creative
freedom. They all represent the singularity of the designer’s bridal gowns.
This year, the designer intends to continue the shoe line designed for each
collection launched with the 2016 Collection, as she attaches great
importance to the entire bridal outfit.
She has been fortunate to be able to rely on the valuable assistance of
Christian Rossi, the artisan shoemaker from Elda (Alicante) who has made
the shoes in accordance with the sketches and specifications considered
most appropriate by both.
ISABEL SANCHIS is a Spanish designer with over three decades of
experience. She started out in a small studio creating dresses for her
closest friends. In 1990 she presented her first collection, and today her
work can be found in over 40 different countries all around the world.
Isabel’s constant objective is to glorify femininity, and she works with only
the best materials, delicate embroidery, and exacting patterns. Her fantasyfilled collections can be adapted to any type of woman while maintaining
their elegance and sophistication, and the details, harmony, and finishing
touches of each dress can be thoroughly appreciated.
Her inspiration comes from painting, design, film, and nature.
ISABEL SANCHIS creates dresses that are contemporary, elegant, and
without an expiration date.
COLLECTION ’17
ISABEL SANCHIS presents her 2017 collection with an avant-garde vision
of traditional dressmaking. Different geometric shapes are rendered using
ancient techniques like origami but translated into the near future. Her
pieces dress a woman with assurance and innovation.
In contrast, the designer shows her love for nature with floral elements on
printed silk gazar, appliqués superimposed on other fabrics, and
meticulously hand-embroidered illustrations of birds. This part of the
collection is of exceptional richness and detailed artisanal craftsmanship,
and it personifies freedom and harmony with nature by dressing romantic
yet powerful women.
The dominant colors are white and black, used in various combinations of
prints and materials. ISABEL SANCHIS also incorporates metallic textures
that lend a futuristic feel to the collection, combining that with warmer
touches in reddish tones, corals, and the occasional blue.
In every model of her new collection, Isabel highlights the feminine outline
and the character of each woman while adding a modern touch with rich
and unusual fabrics.
ISABEL ZAPARDIEZ’s designs are distinguished by their totally artisanal
creation. They are custom-fitted for each woman with exquisite
craftsmanship and the direct involvement of the designer.
Her hallmarks include the use of natural fabrics from the most prestigious
European producers, the reinterpretation of classic patterns from haute
couture, and innovation in her designs with a fusion of styles.
With her many years of experience in the fashion world and
multidisciplinary training, ISABEL ZAPARDIEZ works in every field of
design and approaches the female image from an integral perspective,
designing wedding collections, specialty women’s attire, shoes, handbags,
headwear, etc.
ISABEL ZAPARDIEZ’s designs are featured in major international fashion
shows. In addition to the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, she has also
presented at New York’s Couture Fashion Week and London’s World Bridal
Show, among other events.
Her brand operates from two main centers of activity: the Estudio Haute
Couture de San Sebastián and the Estudio de Pamplona. Both are creative
spaces in which her inspiration can hope to bring itself closer to women
around the world.
COLLECTION ’17
The Shadow of Venus
One-of-a-kind moments. Once-in-a-lifetime moments. Moments of change,
of tracing new paths, of wide horizons. Situations when emotions run high
and tears begin to fall.
Magical moments like observing the shadow of Venus, an astronomical
phenomenon that occurs on rare occasions when the planet passes directly
between the Earth and the Sun, appearing as a small shadow crossing over
its visible surface. Once-in-a-lifetime moments when we can delight in a
fleeting and ephemeral aura. Like a wedding day.
The shadow of Venus silhouetted over the powerful solar body reminds us
of what we are: a compendium of lights and shadows in constant motion,
generating energy to write our own future with a firm hand.
In her 2017 collection, ISABEL ZAPARDIEZ shows this duality that is rich
with intermediate shades. It is her most cosmopolitan collection yet, full of
reflections of contemporary women, emphasizing their plurality while at
the same time accentuating the uniqueness of each individual.
Sensations of softness and sweetness predominate, highlighted by the
contrast of fabrics, the motion of feathers, and the inspiration of nature in
floral motifs.
Founded in 1988, for 28 years INTERSPOSA S.A. has been exclusively
dedicated to the design and manufacture of wedding gowns under the
brand name JESUS PEIRO.
During the last years the brand has gone through an important
international expansion and it has reached a privileged position in market
places as demanding as those of the United Kingdom, France and Italy. It
has also opened new markets, such as the United States and South
America, expanding to more than 30 countries.
JESUS PEIRO manufactures its wedding gowns upholding the same
standards of craftsmanship requested by a maison de couture. Every single
phase of the production takes place at the company’s ateliers in
Viladecans, (Barcelona), where a team of highly specialized petite mains,
seamstresses and pattern makers work under the creative direction of
designer Merche Segarra. The atelier still keeps the traditional
craftsmanship inherent in bridal couture, including the handmade finishes
and the custom fitting of every dress that is ordered.
Under these premises the style of JESUS PEIRO’s designs is clean and
streamlined. Lightness, even in voluminous dresses, is one of its very
distinct features.
JESUS PEIRO’s collections are always designed thinking of a woman who is
very demanding in terms of quality and details, but nevertheless a woman
who knows how to enjoy the playful side of a wedding gown, so that she
can put it at the service of her own personality.
To complement its wedding gown collections, and in order to achieve a
harmonious total look, the brand also offers a wide range of handmade
accessories.
From its beginnings, the firm has presented its collections annually at the
Barcelona Bridal Week, with a fashion show at Barcelona Bridal Fashion
Week, and has taken part in a range of international fairs, such as The
White Gallery in London and at the New York International Bridal Week.

Mirtilli
The inspiration comes from a world filled with textures and sensations,
peculiar volumes and pleasant images that give life to a very suggestive
and sweet collection.
The back lines assert their importance and the bows give a touch of trend.
The body adjusts thanks to the softness of the new types of lace used.
Inside the skirts, the figure grows in dimension or movement.
The collection unleashes fantasies of shine and crystal as if the dresses
were sugar coated.
The fashion show owes its name –Mirtilli– to the invocation of a world
created from sweet treats which culminate in a wedding cake. Excited by
everything that has to do with confectionary and sweet desserts, our
Mirtilli is a flirtatious bride with a very sweet tooth.
JORDI DALMAU Novias, with over 10 years in the wedding fashion
industry, continues to innovate and take risks for the “original” bride
seeking to set herself apart from the rest by wearing a dress out of a
dreamscape.
The delicate craftsmanship and careful design of each of its creations
confer a unique and non-transferable personal seal that more and more
brides are wanting to show off on the most special day of their lives.
JORDI DALMAU Novias was established in 2001 as a young and dynamic
company ready to break the molds in the wedding industry with its
ventures in color in wedding dresses.
These years of experience have allowed it to perfect each of its designs to
bring out the best in every bride. But the designer did not stop there;
rather, he has many exciting plans that rest on their originality to be
realized in the industry.
Thanks to the details, JORDI DALMAU can offer every bride the dress she
has always dreamed of.
COLLECTION ’17
Elumm
Legend tells of an ancestral race whose blood possesses extraordinary
qualities, capable of granting infinite power and energy to those who drink
it. This liquid has been the object of desire for other races, civilizations,
rulers, and supernatural beings.
Chased, harassed, and threatened, the Elumm have only the help of the
Promms, who protect them at all costs.
This new collection, Elumm, is inspired by the supernatural power that we
all have within us and that emerges at those moments when we seek to be
different and irreplaceable.
With this premise, JORDI DALMAU returns in 2017 with his daring
spectrum of variegated colors for brides who are different. His collection
features tailored corsets or cutaways combined with loose tulle skirts that
run from long to short and vice versa.
He broadens his scope this year with tight-fitting bodies with large
necklines, skirts and pants that fool the eye in his Couture line, and languid
dresses and crop tops in his Vintage line.
His now characteristic overskirts join with these bodies and corsets to
create an optical illusion that can surprise even the most skeptical.
All of this is embellished with crafted materials like brocade, lace, and
guipure to form transparencies and endless bows.
And you, do you want to be Elumm?

This year it is exactly 90 years since MARYLISE was born and we are proud
of it. With great passion and creativity, a reputable business was started in
1926 in Belgium where initially hats and accessories for brides were sold.
After discovering the first bridal boutiques with bridal dresses in Paris, the
company decided to launch this concept in Antwerp. These exclusive bridal
dresses and accessories were branded as MARYLISE in 1973.
REMBO STYLING was founded in 1950 by the couple Remans Bolle from
Genk, Belgium, hence the name Rembo. The family was at first mainly
known for its communion dresses, later followed by evening wear and
wedding dresses. The Rembo collections have always been famous because
of their high level of design.
In 2010 MARYLISE and REMBO STYLING, two very important Belgian
bridal wear manufacturers, merged. Together, the two brands have more
than 150 years of experience in bridal fashion. Their wedding dresses can
be found in 600 shops in more than 15 countries. MARYLISE and REMBO
STYILING is, in the truest sense of the word, a family business. The group is
led by Werner De Vlieger and his wife Karine. Werner specifies guidelines
for the future and deals with the commercial tasks in the company. Karine
however, takes the daily line up, such as the monitoring of production and
deliveries. They are supported by a very efficient team consisting of an
experienced staff that guards the company's DNA, and young people who
are very close to the age of our target group and provide new impetus. One
of the youngest within this staff is communication specialist Chiara De
Vlieger, who represents the fourth generation of the family business.
We are a young company with a young spirit and a lot of enthusiasm to
make beautiful things.
COLLECTION ’17
Marylise
The MARYLISE bride is a classic bride: she loves romance and she wants to
shine on her wedding day.
Striking this year is the rise of gold details for a discreet touch of glamour.
Even though a MARYLISE bride loves a romantic wedding gown it is
important that she herself is in the spotlight and not her dress.
MARYLISE also like to introduce an innovative style. They have worked for
this collection with Margaux Tardits, a young French designer with a very
modern style. She created very unique dresses that are still very simple
and very feminine.
For Margaux, the MARYLISE bride is a modern woman who loves a touch
of glamour and femininity. Her creations are pure, feminine and sensual.
Rembo Styiling
The brand has work with three different designers; Manon Pascual,
Géraldine Simonnet and Ruth Donné.
Géraldine Simonnet´s dresses are resolutely modern and light. Her style is
distilled but each creation is very unique
Ruth Donné likes to use lace and that does not mean that it all becomes too
traditional. She’s constantly looking for lace with modern, graphic prints.
With moodboards she determines an image which she elaborates.
For the 2017 collection Manon Pascual leaves the bohemian path to strike
a more fairy-like direction. Soft pastel colors, refined French lace, delicate
flowers and shimmering sequins are her key ingredients. Manon interprets
her designs as a work of art, the process of creating is similar for her as
starting a new painting.
Originating in Córdoba, MATILDE CANO was founded in 1976, when it
presented its first prêt-à-porter collection. Since then it has achieved great
success thanks to its collections of party, evening, and ceremony dresses,
thereby positioning itself as one of the most recognized companies on the
national level.
Originality, elegance, and incomparable excellence are the basic premises
that dominate each of its collections, thanks to the fusion of fabrics such as
silk, gauze, and lace. The details on each of its dresses leave nothing to be
missed, including the contours cut with painstaking care.
MATILDE CANO currently relies on the creative direction of her two
daughters, Marisa and Olga Gutiérrez, who bring freshness and ensure that
the latest trends are present in its collections. The company is thus
established as a traditional family business that endures the passing of the
years. It has also established a second, “cool” brand, MaSS by Matilde cano,
offering a more versatile and daring product line.
MATILDE CANO is successful not only in Spain. The Portuguese and Italian
markets were the first to embrace its collections. Today MATILDE CANO is
present in over 15 different countries all over the world, including Italy,
France, Ireland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
COLLECTION ’17
Designer MATILDE CANO’s new collection for 2017 has its origins in the
romantic Victorian era.
High collars, subtle details in lace, and bows are the trends this 2017
season.
Fine gauze fabrics, lace, frills, brooches, and elegant bows for fastening
necklines and collars are musts for creating a common thread. This
collection shows MATILDE CANO’s romanticism at its sweetest and most
exquisite.
Romantic gauze blouses paired with thickly flounced skirts in precious
cuts transport us to the magnificent gardens of 19th-century England in its
most elegant and feminine aspect, where the most romantic spirit of the
collection is found.
Tulle, Chantilly lace, and plumetis create transparencies, mikados,
brocades, and rich damasks that convey the Victorian essence. A subtle
play of volumes ranging from the faint and ethereal to a domed contour
that hugs the body and widens the skirts creates supremely feminine
gowns.
Rich textures, brilliant colors, and neo-Romantic shapes breathe in
harmony with extraordinary accessories like bejeweled bands and hair
ornaments from El ropero de Pi.
A perfect mise en scène that evokes the sweetest sentiments.
Designers Marco Marrero and María Díaz began their professional careers
in 1990 with the creation of a design and dressmaking workshop in Puerto
de la Cruz, Tenerife.
In 1998 MARCO&MARIA became part of the collective Tenerife Moda, a
promotion platform in Tenerife’s fashion industry that allowed them to
realize their first exhibition on the national runways. Only one year after
their debut, MARCO&MARIA paraded in Cibeles, and in 2000 they crossed
borders and presented their wedding collection at the Foire de Paris.
From the beginning, MARCO&MARIA has distinguished itself with its own
unique style and a marked vintage feel as its hallmark. Its designs cover
two styles—wedding and party—that gain prominence for their exclusive
printed fabrics including tulle, organza, and silk.
Far from the automated character of mass production, MARCO&MARIA
exclusively personalizes each of its designs, with their production taking
place entirely in Spain.
The company is currently in the process of expanding its commercial
network, which it began in 2014 with the opening of its first point of sale
in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It can now be found at 20 international locations
specializing in the wedding industry.
COLLECTION ’17
MARCO&MARIA’s source of inspiration for this season’s collection were
the female characters in the novel The Leopard.
This novel, set in Italy during the turbulent years of the Risorgimento,
served the designers in their goal of emphasizing rich Baroque fabrics and
aged colors.
They also incorporated into the collection the aesthetics of tattoo, lightly
covering the skin with lace for a delicate and ethereal effect.
The designs incorporate sleeves and collars that wrap the woman’s body,
imitating the subtlety of insect wings.
Tulle, the sheen of fine embroidery, gemstone appliqués, and
superimposed textures transform the designers’ adoration of past eras
into fascinating dresses for the woman of today.
In keeping with the catchphrase of the novel—“everything needs to
change, so everything can stay the same”— MARCO&MARIA has
restructured its dresses while maintaining the romanticism and
timelessness of its designs.
NAEEM KHAN is an Indian-American fashion designer based in New York.
Born and raised in Mumbai, Khan grew up in a world surrounded by
culture, architecture, art, history and design. As a boy, he cultivated a vast
knowledge of textiles under the watchful eyes of his grandfather and
father, who both designed intricate clothing worn by the royal families.
Khan ultimately moved to the United States as a teenager to become a
designer and launched his career as an apprentice for legendary American
designer Halston at the age of 20. During his time there, he immersed
himself in the ethos of modern restraint and learned the craft of draping
and cutting fabric to create a clean, elegant and timeless silhouette. Khan
eventually merged this design philosophy with the knowledge he gained
from his family’s business to nurture his own unique style, and the NAEEM
KHAN design aesthetic was born.
Khan launched his eponymous collection in 2003 and began selling at
Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Since then his
luxurious collection of impeccably cut dresses, sophisticated gowns and
elegant separates has adorned glamorous women around the world,
including Christina Hendricks, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Emily
Blunt, Lea Michele, Penélope Cruz, Katy Perry, First Lady Michelle Obama
and Queen Noor of Jordan to name a few. In 2008, he was inducted as a
member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America. Today
the Naeem Khan ready-to-wear and bridal collections are sold at more
than 100 department stores and specialty boutiques across the world.
Khan currently splits his time between New York and Miami and lives with
his wife Ranjana.
COLLECTION ’17
The NAEEM KHAN 2017 Bridal collection is a celebration of diversity and
originality. Combining intricate, hand-embroidered details with
unexpected silhouettes, such as caftans, capes, leggings, and tunics, Khan’s
latest bridal collection embraces out-of-the-box ideas with a touch of
bohemian sensibility. A pleated tulle ballerina skirt, silk organza caftan
and an ivory, hand-embroidered tunic paired with matching leggings are
just some of the new ideas proposed by Khan. Other looks that embrace a
more classic shape feature eye-catching accents, such as beaded fringe and
ostrich feathers, or different hues, such as blush, lavender and pale blue.
For the daring bride, Khan also introduces a high collar, hand-embroidered
ball gown in black with hand-cut floral appliqués.
PATRICIA AVENDAÑO has been part of the fashion world for over 20 years,
a world that has inspired her since she was very young.
She began her professional path in this world in 1987 when she joined the
staff of one of its most prestigious companies. Three years later, the
Galician designer presented her first collection in the inaugural Novia
España in Barcelona (now in its 25th year, where she is still exhibiting her
collections).
In the following years, she continued to participate in the industry’s best
fashion shows of the time, such as the Pasarela Luada and Campus Stellae,
presenting her creations with such esteemed models as Claudia Schiffer
and Valeria Mazza, among others.
In the year 2000, with her great stockpile of information and knowledge of
the industry, she gathered together her own team of collaborators and,
maintaining her style, created her own company: Patricia Avendaño S.A.
In 2015 the company experienced a great leap in its process of expansion
when PATRICIA AVENDAÑO celebrated the opening of her new stores in
Madrid, Alicante, and Valencia. These openings, together with the 2014
inauguration of her own first store in Vigo, show a shift in her business
strategy in response to the previous expectations of the company and to
lay the groundwork for the next 10 years of the business.
PATRICIA AVENDAÑO’s company has crossed borders and now sells its
models in Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Great
Britain, Russia, Australia, Korea, Japan, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates,
Lebanon, Qatar, Mexico, Peru, and the United States. Twenty percent of its
products are sold outside of Spain.
At this time, aside from her stores in Vigo, Madrid, Alicante, and Valencia,
PATRICIA AVENDAÑO keeps a permanent showroom in Moscow and is
planning the opening of her first store in Mexico City.
COLECCIÓN ’17
Designer PATRICIA AVENDAÑO’s new collection looks back to its
beginnings to bring old ideas back to life.
Wedding
PATRICIA AVENDAÑO finds inspiration in fabrics for designing her
dresses. Classic brides with modern touches go hand in hand with bodies
with unexpected textures and colors that are out of the ordinary.
In this collection, fabrics like neoprene and silk knit compete with classic,
rustic embroidery and tattoo-like lace. PATRICIA AVENDAÑO does not
forget the silk, tulle, and crêpe in creating the dream bride.
The classic white, ivory, bone, etc. join side by side with novelties like sky
blue and aquamarine. Printed skirts are the colorful touch of the wedding
collection.
Skirts with volume, close-fitted or flounced, are paired with a variety of
necklines. A short dress is a novelty for more daring brides.
Party
The color that emanates from any landscape is the inspiration for this
party collection in which PATRICIA AVENDAÑO returns to her origins: her
now famous flounced dresses.
Crêpe plays the leading role, going hand in hand with tulle, silk, and
organza.
Flowers, flowers, and more flowers, an explosion of color that fills parties,
weddings, and red carpets.
The necklines are designed to adjust to the cut of each dress. Frills with an
exposed shoulder, volume with a word of honor. Dreams made into reality.
PRONOVIAS is a family business that has its origins in El Suizo, a
prestigious Barcelona store that specializes in high-quality lace,
embroidery, and silk fabrics, founded by Alberto Palatchi Bienveniste in
1922. In 1964 the company presented for the first time in Spain its
collection of prêt-à-porter wedding dresses, and then Pronovias was born.
Today Alberto Palatchi Ribera directs the company and its expansion,
passing on his philosophy of quality and design that characterize his work.
To get to where it is now, PRONOVIAS developed in Spain during the 70s
and 80s, establishing itself as a model distribution chain for wedding
fashion with the best stores in the country’s main cities. During the 80s
and 90s, its international growth was accelerated through exporting,
primarily within Europe, thanks to an extension of the distribution
network of all the company’s brands. Since the year 2000, its international
expansion has spread all around the world, and the company has opened
flagship stores in cities like Milan, London, Paris, New York, and Lisbon.
Currently, and after 52 years of history, Pronovias has a presence in over
105 countries, with 155 stores and over 4,000 points of sale. Its goal is to
continue growing and opening stores, both in countries in which it already
operates and in new markets. Recently, at the international level,
PRONOVIAS has opened flagship stores in cities like Mexico City, Rome,
Berlin, Brussels, and Warsaw. At the national level, the company has had
openings in Madrid, Seville, Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, Málaga, Almería,
and Alicante.
With Alberto Palatchi as president, and with his son Alberto Palatchi
Gallardo joining the company, Pronovias has strengthened itself into a
family business with a multinational structure and vision that continues to
grow with the commitment to dressing the dreams of the brides of the
world, for at least another 50 years.
COLLECTION ’17
Atelier Pronovias
Fluid contours and light materials depict a bride with contemporary
elegance for whom comfort is beauty’s best ally.
The 2017 Atelier Pronovias collection studies patterns and fabrics for
shaping a slender silhouette, forming three lines that feature in the season:
Imperio, Sirena, and Gran Volumen.
The backs draw attention in the new collection, specially ornamented with
gemstones and delicate hand embroidery, or the tulle and plumetis
appliqués of haute couture.
The skirts are delicately decorated with a jewel-like appearance, and the
embroidery trails off in the most sophisticated shades of gold, the star
color of 2017. As for the details, the new collection is finished with
embroidered gemstones in a minimalist spirit, going over the pieces with a
touch of light on the shoulders and necklines and a subtle balance between
contours and decoration.
The long trains that the company offers are back in style, and they are
made detachable so that the dress can be worn at both the ceremony and
the reception.
The superior materials grant a polished and precious character to these
creations. Lace shows its lightest qualities with the special inclusion of
Chantilly.
The new collection explores new possibilities with lace, the prized
material of the house, and it is applied in geometric forms and used to
outline new cuts and shapes.
Silk mikado and crêpe complete the selection of fabrics, among which
2017 welcomes as a novelty stretch chiffon, an evolution of crystal tulle.
Our company was established in 1992 under the name of RAMON
SANJURJO Design SL when its namesake launched it into the market after
years of experience in the industry. A Coruña (Spain) was the city that
birthed us and it is there we have our headquarters.
Dedicated from the beginning to men’s fashion, we decided on a new
direction for our style and quality in 2005, when we incorporated luxury
materials and stylized, avant-garde designs that would become the
hallmarks of our brand. Since then we have become part of the luxury
fashion industry in Spain and Europe, as well as having an international
presence in countries such as Hong Kong, Mexico, and Chile, through select
specialty retailers and El Corte Inglés.
At RAMON SANJURJO we channel innovation and exclusivity into every
collection.
Luxury quality and exquisite detail draw attention in both the prêt-àporter collection (sport) and the formal collection (party).
Our patterns adjust to the body, embracing it without losing a shred of
comfort, to achieve the stylized look that we are known for: avant-garde
elegance for the urban man.
All of our garments pass through a process of design, preparation, and
production, during which our pattern makers and designers pay the
greatest attention to the details and the quality of the raw materials.
We produce exclusively in Europe, with Spain and Portugal being the
countries that provide us with the most work.
COLLECTION ’17
RAMON SANJURJO unites trends with tradition. A good sample of this is his
2016 ceremony collection, in which he offers the best fabrics in the market
combined with the most conscientious craftsmanship and finishing of the
highest quality. The company is steeped in Spanish fashion, as the entire
dressmaking process from conception to creation has taken place in A
Coruña for over two decades.
The new 2016 ceremony collection offers men the perfect tool for a perfect
event, combining well-defined contours and tight patterns charged with
stylizing the look for this great moment. New trends add to the classic
blacks and blues, joining a select range of greens and maroons. At RAMON
SANJURJO we are aware of the demands of the time, so we concentrate our
efforts on achieving the best results so that we may offer our clients the
best of our products, adding value to those most special moments.
Entrepreneur and fashion designer specializing in wedding attire.
Since the inception of her company in 1995 (at that time a store for
wedding dresses), it has been converted into a holding company with 3
centers of activity in Spain and subsidiaries in the United States, Brazil,
Mexico, Canada, Portugal, France, and Germany, from which it manages the
production and distribution of its 8 wedding collections and 5 party
collections for 77 countries through 146 exclusive stores and 3,500 retailer
points of sale.
In recent years the company’s main endeavor has been
internationalization, and it now has a presence on 5 continents after the
opening of its first store in Shanghai in 2015.
ROSA CLARÁ has been recognized worldwide for both her
entrepreneurship and her more artistic side, and her designs are often
chosen by celebrities and fashion editors.
COLLECTION ’17
True to the timeless elegance of Rosa Clará’s style, the company’s 2017
collection presents a rich and creative array of designs that evoke the
sensibility of the modern woman: self-indulgent, lively, and searching
fashion for an accomplice to highlight her personality.
A fluid outline that traces the contours of the body and another more
volumetric, architectonically-inspired one define this essentialist,
harmonious collection, whose palette relies heavily on white in all its many
shades expressed on premium fabrics.
Cloqué is introduced for the first time into the universe of Rosa Clará by
creations that embody the dressmaking tradition, as well as metallic
Chantilly that adds luster and shine to the pieces, and Valenciennes in
combination with silk crêpe in the more architectonic outlines. Muslins are
revived, and lend greater lightness to the dresses. The ethereal feel of the
dresses is also emphasized with tulle on voluminous skirts and
superimposed lace and Chantilly on organza overskirts, as well as by the
masterful use of the cut-out technique to reveal the body through precious
materials like gauze and lace.
As for the details: In the company’s aesthetic spirit, tulip bows and organza
petals adorn the dresses, bringing the beauty of nature to the pieces, while
embroidery and back decorations evolve into sophisticated motifs sewn
with silver thread and crystals.
Accessories complete the collection with a new take on jewelry fashioned
out of innovative materials. These indispensable pieces profile a bride of
modern femininity who, like the 21st-century woman, forfeits no
delicateness or sensuality.

The style of the collection is versatile and can be adapted to any occasion.
The dresses are elegant and show very feminine details. And, every season,
the company offers a wide variety of designs made with satin, sateen, and
other delicate fabrics.
The company’s commitment to international expansion is one of the main
keys to its growth. It is a large family that supports the business network in
Andalusia as well as in foreign markets.
COLLECTION ’17
“Scarlett, Gone with the wind”
SONIA PEÑA presents an emblematic collection for 2017 based on the
novel by Margaret Mitchell. The collection is romantic, ambitious, and
bold, like the personality of the novel’s protagonist.
“Scarlett” is a collection with character. With a reinvented retro feel, it pays
special attention to fabrics, volumes, and floral prints, all with a romantic
touch. Crafted contours with lace and transparencies as the common
thread. Navy, turquoise, eggplant, and fuchsia are the tones of the season.
The red hot night. “Scarlett” certainly leaves something in the heart.
SONIA PEÑA belongs to the second generation of a family involved in
business, and she has a great entrepreneurial spirit. Creative and artistic,
her energy is contagious.
Yolanda and Cristina grew up surrounded by organza, tulle, and silk in the
wedding store their mother managed. It was there that an idea was born:
to revolutionize wedding fashion.
In 2005 the two sisters decided to make their dream a reality by creating a
company geared toward women with authentic essence. Since then YOLAN
CRIS has positioned itself as one of the industry’s benchmark brands, and
it has expanded both nationally and internationally.
The secret? Each of YOLAN CRIS’s designs is skillfully handcrafted in its
Barcelona atelier, selecting European fabrics of the highest quality and
without overlooking the smallest of details.
This fusion between traditional production and innovative design, nearing
the trends of prêt-à-porter, is the golden stitch of a company in constant
evolution.
COLLECTION ’17
YOLAN CRIS covers all the bases for the chicest bride.
Modern, avant-garde, contemporary, and innovative in wedding design, all
under codes of maximum quality. The new haute couture in weddings is in
the hands of sisters Yolanda and Cristina, the soul of YOLAN CRIS.
The collection is divided into two lines.
The first wedding line is prêt-à-couture, with a fresh and very casual
design. Bohemian elegance, with every design emanating craftsmanship
and modesty, emphasizing the quality of dressmaking by hand and the
superimposing of the most beautiful European laces. A savoir-faire, a chic
essence in which the DNA of YOLAN CRIS is recognized at first sight.
The new chic Style, the haute couture of YOLAN CRIS, is created from the
best European fabrics with artisanal needlework done by hand with the
greatest delicateness and mastery. Fine Chantilly lace and silk guipure
blend with the richness of silk tulle and precious stones reflecting silver,
forming hand embroidered floral patterns. A new modernity in wedding
haute couture with new and innovative contours that set the trends for
wedding fashion in 2017.
