GENERAL CLARIFICATIONS Item 1 Wainscoting as shown in elevation 15/A4-41 and sketch SKA-03 as issued with Addendum No. 1, to continue along wall in lieu of wood paneling for base bid. Second Floor Wood Paneling shown, has been moved into Alternate No. 10. See changes to Proposal Form and Alternates sections. CHANGES TO SPECIFICATIONS Section 00 42 00 – Proposal Form Item 2 Replace section in its entirety with attached Revised Proposal Form. Addendum 2 ADD 2-1 Onslow County Courthouse Expansion Jacksonville, NC SSA 2015014.00 Section 01 23 00 – Alternates Item 3 Modify Subparagraph 3.1.H, to read as follows: H. Alternate No. 8; Exterior Lightings: State the amount to be added to the Base Bid for providing all labor and materials to install exterior LED Lighted Handrails in lieu of exterior stainless steel handrails and associated Tree Lights per electrical and as shown and indicated in the contract documents per the plans and specifications. Item 4 Add Subparagraph 3.1.J, to read as follows: J. Alternate No. 10; Second Floor Wood Paneling: State the amount to be added to the Base Bid for providing all labor and materials for wood paneling as shown on A7-04 and elevation 15/A4-41 and any other locations and details as shown and indicated in the contract documents per the plans and specifications. Section 14 24 00 – Hydraulic Elevators Item 7 Clarification, Subparagraph 2.9.A and 2.13.C; Fixed return panel with a swing car station plate is acceptable, provided this system can be used with no changed to elevator as drawn. Item 8 Clarification, Subparagraph 2.14.C; Holeless hydraulic equipment is acceptable for Elevator E3, provided this system can be used with no changes to elevator as drawn. Section 32 31 19 – Decorative Metal High Security Fences and Gates Item 9 Modify Subparagraph 2.2.B wind load requirement, from 130mph, to 125 mph. Item 10 Modify Subparagraph 2.3.B topcoat color; The color shall be Black. Item 11 Modify/Strike Subparagraph 2.4.A.1, 3, and 4, as follows: A. Installed in an opening as indicated on the drawings: 1. Description: Commercial Grade gate and adjacent fence section: total steel ornamental pale high security fence system.
