THE INSTITUTE
Dr. B R Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar, India (NITJ), is one of the premier institutes under Ministry of Human Resource
Development, Government of India. It was established in the year 1989 as Regional Engineering College Jalandhar &
was given the status of Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology in Oct, 2002.
THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) at NITJ is one of the oldest departments at NITJ and
boasts an impressive record including over 200 papers contributed in various journals and conferences by the faculty
