Example 1 Chupacabra By: Kanani Galbiso Scientific Name There is no real scientific name for the Chupacabra. The name of the Chupacabra is Spanish meaning “Goat Sucker” (from chupar, meaning "to suck", plus cabra, meaning "goat“). Range There’s not just one specific spot where sightings of the Chupacabra happen. They have supposedly have been spotted in Mexico, Chile, Puerto Rico, and America. Diet A Chupacabra is said to drink Animal Blood. It is said to drink the blood of a variety of animal’s blood. It’s mostly been reported drinking Goat blood hence the name “Goat Sucker”. Physical Description No one really knows what a Chupacabra looks like. But it is said to have Leathery skin, spikes along it’s back, sharp claws, and glowing red eyes. Breeding Info. No one knows as it is a Cryptid. It’s existence is still being debated over. Special Behavior or Unique Anatomy They have sharp claws and teeth to help capture prey. They are very fast and can leap a distance with a little help from their wings. Weird Info. • They can bound 66ft (20m) when hunting prey. • They do not leave footprints • Many people report the Chupacabra having wings (wing span13ft) Video Conclusion Thank you for watching my Powerpoint. I have learned a lot about the Chupacabra. Example 2 Sarah Gomez The scientific name for this beautiful creature is called a Canis lupus familiaris. Their habitats are Domesticated. But their population is growing! They don’t have a specific location because they are now world-wide. They are Omnivores ! They eat both vegetables and other animals. They should not eat too much dairy, cooked bones, or onion. Weight: 35 to 60 pounds Length:20 to 23 ½ inches tall Life-span: 12 to 15 years old Huskies give birth to live young. They should not breed under 2 years of age. They usually give birth up to 6 pups per female. They can hunt cats & other various animals. They enjoy company at all times. They can “talk” (Howl when they need/want something or whine.) The breed is over 3000 years old ! They can run up to 50 mph. They shed twice a year. Their ears stand on their own. They are VERY noisy & sometimes talkative. Thanks to all my classmates & teacher for watching my presentation, I learned a lot about the Siberian Husky.
