Students will be introduced to design and composition. Learn how to create mood, reflections and weathered effects. No prior experience is required, great for beginners. Experimental Techniques of Painting & Pencil Instructor: Tim Pafford Mondays, call for dates, 12:00pm-2:45pm $165, 8-week class Students will experience anything goes with this class! Examples will focus on metallic inks with watercolor, ink on stone, white and color with black contrast. Various textured surfaces will be suggested along with the use of a variety of painting mediums and supplies. Students will choose the subject; Tim will help guide and demonstrate various effects. The remaining time will be spent on one pose, which is ideal for painters. Artists drawing the figure can utilize their time by finding another open vantage point to complete a second drawing.
