are welcome to attend the “open” session of the
meeting from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. At 8 p.m. the meeting
will be closed to Board Members and Staff only. If
you wish to address the Board, notify the President
in advance so that you may be placed on the open
session agenda.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
Minutes March 10, 2015
Meeting called to order by President Rick Holbrook.
Board members present: Rick Holbrook, Stu Donaldson, Ken Hoover, Tommy
Belfiore, Kevin Morris and Del Morris. Steve Brown was excused from the meeting.
Guests attending: Bob Roza, Frank Goularte, Linda Manning and Linda Hoover
Minutes of the February 10, 2015, meeting were discussed and no changes made.
Motion to accept by Del Morris, seconded by Kevin Morris. Motion passed.
Financial report was discussed. No changes. Motion to accept by Ken Hoover,
seconded by Stu Donaldson. Motion passed.
New Business:
Names were discussed for induction into the 2015 Hall Of Fame. Board members will
be discussing and recommending people who have done outstanding jobs over the past
years.
Gentleman Robert Roza made a presentation to the Board of concerns that members
have contacted him with. The concerns and answers will be sent out by Linda Manning in
the near future.
Committee Reports:
Swap Meet – Del Morris reported that the reschedule swap meet is this Saturday March
14, 2015 from 7am to 1pm at the VFW Post in Ripon. Tom Manning will be there from
10am to 2pm to tech midgets and Dave LaManna will be there from 9am to 1pm to tech
Midget Lites. Linda Manning will also have membership information as well as shirts and
sweatshirts for sale.
Tommy Belfiore stated he has 29 confirmed attendees for the annual Vintage Meeting
scheduled for this Saturday March 14, 2015.
The Midget race at Fernley April 25, 2015 will be a Double points race.
The Midget Lites will hold the Wayne Albright Memorial Race May 2, 2015 at Placerville.
BCRA will be entering into an agreement with Speed Partzs to enter the Top 3 points
drivers, Rookie of the Year and Hard Luck owner into a Speed Partz contest. The winner
will be drawn at the Shootout in Tulsa. There will other Midget Lite (Lightning Sprints)
organizations involved in this drawing. More to come on this when all the paperwork is
complete. Speed Partz will be giving away to ONE contestant a new FOZ G3Lightning
Sprint Chassis body (includes chassis, body, tin kit). Motion by Ken Hoover, seconded by
Kevin Morris. Motion Passed.
Tommy Belfiore showed the Board member the new Vintage /BCRA license plate
frame. The frame will sell for $13.00
Motion to adjourn by Del Morris. Seconded by Kevin Morris. Motioned passed.

ALMOND BLOSSOM PARADE: February 21st we went to Ripon to participate in the Almond Blossom Parade. We met up with Del Morris and Mark Maliepaard at Del's home to load up his competitive midgets on his trailer and we had ours already loaded on our open trailer with our Hotrod
Truck. The weather was cool because of the fog, when it lifted the parade had warm weather and
it was long and great, with lots of town folks complementing our BCRA Midgets.The parade was a
lot of fun we followed the Teacher That Rock's trailer, great classical rock to listen too, local school
marching band's, Hotrod clubs and Modesto A's.

ANNUAL VINTAGE MEETING
March 14. 2015
At Ron Dunn’s Museum
Saturday March 14th the BCRA Vintage Annual planning meeting for 2015, what
a great turn out it was, there was 23 present along with guests. Our director Tommy Belfiore did his usual great job of hosting the meeting. We discussed the 2015
schedule for the up coming season it’s a good one. Tommy also made up a real neat
directory for every member which contained the Vintage Rules, diagram of all the
flags and hand signals used at all of the tracks. A place in the directory for your car
setup for all the various tracks we run at and a membership roster. We discussed
safety rules in general and various things that may come up with vintage events in
the future.
Sammy Belfiore, who is a well deserving recipient of our perpetual Sportsmen trophy for his outstanding contribution to our vintage events. We also had a raffle, which
was quiet interesting and profitable. Tommy showed us a new license plate for sale,
with a BCRA Logo on the plate. The plate was very well done.
Some of the members traveled a long distance to attend our meeting. We appreciate it, mainly Greg Vroman, who came all the way from Reno just to be there. Member’s who were in attendance; Harold Allen, Nancy Allen, Tommy Belfiore, Sammy
Belfiore, Larry Booth, Mike Booth, Tim Butterick, Jim Correira, David De Groot, Jim
DeJong, Joe DeMartini, John DeMartini, Ron Dunn, Paul Farajian, June Ferreira,
Paul Ferreira, Norm Gray, Frank Goularte, John Mosekian, Norm Rapp, Don Strauch,
Greg Vroman and Richard Walsh.
The meeting was held at Ron Dunn’s Museum in Santa Clara and we got under
way around 11am and it last about 2 hours. Thank you Ron for the use of your wonderful place. We discussed the fact that our events were very successful last year,
with a few new members and a good car count. We are looking forward to another
fun filled year of exhibition events. Hopefully we’ll see you all at Madera 3/28 for first
BCRA All Division event this season, pit gates open at 11am.
