Restrictions
* No open flames in the tents; however, candles
are allowed in containers or votives (wax
must be contained as to not drip on the
table).
Rental Fees (per 8 hour shift)
Booking Requirements
High Season from May - October
Saturday Evenings: $6,500 facility fee and
200 guest count minimum
* A deposit of 50% of the facility fee and 25% of
the estimated catering costs are needed to
reserve a date.
Friday Evenings: $5,500 facility fee and
150 guest count minimum
* The deposits are applied towards the facility
(checks made payable to Nella Terra Cellars)
and catering fees (checks made payable to
Palmdale Estates Catering).
* Mandatory Palmdale Estates Catering for all
events at Nella Terra Cellars.
Sunday Evenings: $5,500 facility fee and
125 guest count minimum
* Lessee is required to hire one of Nella Terra’s
DJs.
Low Season in March, April and November
* Contract times are 8 hours. Music and bar
service must cease one hour before the end of
the 8 hour time frame.
* More than one event may take place on the
property each day. Event times will not
overlap. Lessee is guaranteed exclusive use of
the property during their 8 hour event.
* No whipping cream, shaving cream, toilet
paper, cans, etc is allowed to be decorated on
the newlywed car.
* No birdseed, rice, confetti, or bubbles are
allowed to be thrown as the couple departs.
Nella Terra Cellars suggests the couple
purchase bells to be distributed to their
guests.
* No stapling, taping, or tacking anything
indoors and/or outdoors on Nella Terra
Cellars’ property.
* No sparklers or skye lanterns allowed on the
property - no exceptions.
* No honking of horns is allowed on the
property.
* In order to protect the vines on the property,
vehicles must not exceed 5 mph. Lessee needs
to make sure that all its vendors, bridal party
members and guests are aware of this policy.
Saturday Evenings: $5,500 facility fee and

Friday Evenings: $4,500 facility fee and
125 guest count minimum
Sunday Evenings: $4,500 facility fee and
100 guest count minimum
Weekdays (Monday - Thursday)
March-November Evenings: $3,500 facility fee
and 100 guest count minimum
Holidays & Holiday Weekends
Sunday Evenings: $6,500 facility fee
and 200 guest count minimum
Monday-Thursday Evenings: $4,500 facility fee
and 100 guest count minimum
Overtime for all shifts is $1,000 per extra hour
*Ceremony Only: March-November daytime
shift at $3,000 with a 4-hour minimum and
mandatory $19.95 appetizer package with
catering manager’s fee.
*Nella Terra Cellars will be closed from the end
of November 2015 to mid-March 2016 due to
construction on the property.
*In 2016, Nella Terra’s tent could be replaced
with a rustic barn.
Capacity of Nella Terra Cellars:
Up to 400 Guests Indoor/Outdoor
* It is mandatory to use one of Nella Terra’s inhouse DJs. $100 of your initial catering
deposit will be deducted from your invoice to
secure one of our DJs. This $100 will also be
deducted from the invoice of the in-house DJ
you contract with.
* Insurance Policy from companies such as
wedsafe.com or theeventhelper.com in the
amount of $1,000,000 must be provided by the
Lessee naming Nella Terra Cellars and
Palmdale Estates as an additional insured.
* Please choose your date carefully as the
deposits are nonrefundable if the date is
cancelled at any time regardless of the reason.
Nella Terra is making a commitment to hold
the date for you as you are making the
commitment to have your wedding at our
facility on that date. Please respect that we do
not offer refunds on cancelled or unused dates.
Although we are sympathetic because most
reasons to cancel are unfortunate, please
respect that we are a business and, therefore,
do not offer refunds.
* Shuttle service (minimum of 5 hours) is
mandatory for all events. The shuttle will be
available for 2 hours around your ceremony
time and the last 3 hours of your event.
* For events with guest counts at 200 and above,
(2) parking attendants ($40/per) are required.

Vineyards at Nella Terra Cellars’ brides and
grooms and their guests.
Procedures
* Nella Terra Cellars provides the Lessee the initial
set-up and break-down of tables and chairs. Any
subsequent re-arrangements of tables and chairs
are serviced by Palmdale Estates Catering’s staff.
If there are any last minute changes due to
weather or other causes the Lessee may need to
provide additional help to assist the catering staff.
* Events held at Nella Terra Cellars are required to use
catering through Palmdale Estates Catering and
choose from the list of mandatory DJs.
* All boxes, directional signs, balloons and posters
must be removed from The Vineyards at Nella Terra
Cellars at the end of Lessee’s rental hours.
* Lessee shall provide a Wed Safe insurance policy for
$1,000,000 naming Nella Terra Cellars and Palmdale
Estates Catering as additional insureds against all
claims for injuries to persons or damages to property
which may arise from or in connection with the
lessee’s operation and use of the leased premises The
cost of the insurance shall be borne by the Lessee.
* The 8 hour rental time frame requires the ceremony
to be held 2 hours after the start of the 8 hours. For
the first 1 1/2 hours the property is only made
available for your bridal party, wedding vendors and
family members. Guests can start to arrive 30
minutes before your scheduled ceremony.
* A dressing room is provided for the bride and her
bridesmaids in our bridal changing room. The bridal
changing room is only a changing room and is not
intended for makeup applications and hairstyling.
* A place to wait before the ceremony is provided for
the groom and his groomsmen in our wine tasting
room. This area has a private bathroom; however, it
is not intended to be a changing area. We
recommend the men come dressed in their suits/
tuxedos.
* Rehearsals do not take precedence over
maintenance/watering of the lawns. Nella Terra
Cellars cannot guarantee dry ground for the
rehearsals since watering takes place Mon.-Thurs.

* Extra guest tables (above 20) and chairs (above 200)
that are required are rented from an outside rental
company at the following fees:
* 66” guest table at $12.00 each
* White folding chair at $4.00 each
* Gold chiavari chair at $7.50 each
* The initial deposits are immediately deposited and
applied towards the rental and catering fees. The
deposits are nonrefundable if the Lessee cancels their
date regardless of date of cancellation or reason for
cancellation.
* Palmdale Estates Catering set-up and break-down
crew may be working on the premises during the first
and last hour of lessee’s event.
* Rehearsals are scheduled in accordance with the
available openings at Nella Terra Cellars. There
are no additional charges for a (1) hour rehearsal.
* Lessee should understand that the person who has
helped them book their event may not be the event
manager on the day of Lessee’s event. The Lessee
will be notified approximately (3) months prior to
their event as to who will be the catering manager.
* Note: The catering manager should not be
confused for a wedding consultant/coordinator.
Palmdale Estates Catering highly suggests you
hire a professional coordinator if you feel you need
extra guidance and attention to detail.
* For South Asian weddings, ceremonial cutting or
cracking of the coconut is only permitted as long
as it does not damage Nella Terra’s floor/stone.
Lessee must bring in a base for which the coconut
is cracked or cut on as to not damage the venue.
* Although Nella Terra Cellars generally books only
one event per day, sometimes, especially on
Saturdays in high season, two events could be
booked on the same date, one after the other. The
rental hours of the two events will not overlap.
* Nella Terra Cellars recommends that Lessee put
directional signs in the property to help their guests
locate their rental and parking area. All directional
signs, balloons and posters must be removed from
The Vineyards at Nella Terra Cellars at the end of
Lessee’s rental hours.
