Eye Chart Wines, Joel Gott and Dave Phinney`s second
WINEMAKING NOTES: Eye Chart Wines, Joel Gott
and Dave Phinney's second collaboration, is a nonvintage, red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite
Sirah, Syrah, and Merlot. Fruit sourced from Napa Valley,
Sonoma, Lodi and Mendocino creates a well-balanced
red wine that’s made to enjoy now with no aging required.
While the wine is non-vintage, the label art is not. Drawing inspiration from a vintage eye chart they came across
a few years back, Joel & Dave created a fun, eye-catching
label (no pun intended) that tests your vision.
TASTING NOTES: Eye Chart Wines’ red wine blend
has aromas of blackberries, cherries, and coffee with
notes of vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, the wine
has a powerful structure with sweet and sour fruit, smooth
acidity, and silky tannins. The flavors are elegant and
balanced with a soft, round mouthfeel.
