Wind deflector with printed design
The wind deflector for the BMW 1 Convertible deflects a large proportion of the air stream to the back
of the car. The air circulation in the passenger cabin is more pleasant, since draughts and vortices are
minimised. The printed design on the mesh surface enhances the car’s appearance and gives it an individual and special look along with an exclusive image.

Sport short rod aerial
Short, sporty aerial rod for optical enhancement and individualisation of cars. At 105 mm, the aerial rod
is significantly shorter than the original part and offers non-stop good reception thanks to highquality
aerial technology. No troublesome removal necessary before a mechanical car wash. With the sport
aerial rod, special emphasis was placed on technology and design. Thread adapters are provided with
5mm and 6mm for hassle-free replacement.

BMW Performance aerodynamic package and components (carbon)
The BMW Performance aerodynamic package underlines the sporting appearance of the BMW 1 Series.
The full package includes the front apron, the side skirts with integrated grilles and rear apron. Components should be ordered depending on the car’s equipment with PDC and SRA. Additional equipment
versions are: high-gloss black decorative front grille, mirror covers (carbon), rear diffuser (carbon), rear
spoiler (carbon), décor trims and front apron components (carbon).

BMW Performance Diesel Power Kit
With the BMW Performance Diesel Power Kit, the engine power of the series cars 120d, 320d and
320xd is significantly enhanced. The kit comprises a new control unit including an engine data update
and other hardware components that are perfectly coordinated with each other. The performance
improvement (145 kW / 390 Nm) is truly thrilling thanks to its sporting character and impresses with
outstanding driving performance.

Performance Chassis
The BMW Performance chassis for the E81, E82 and E87 is intended to offer ambitious sporty drivers
an emotional and safe driving experience. The new, sporty chassis tuning combined with the lowering
of the car creates a more dynamic drive feeling compared to the M sports chassis SA704. To distinguish the sporty tuning visually, the coil springs are finished in BMW Performance yellow paint.
BMW Performance sport seat
Nothing is better at conveying the ultimate feel of sitting in a sports car than a modern sport seat.
As well as offering the safety and comfort of a standard seat, this lightweight bucket seat also has an
impressive sporty design. The BMW Performance sport seat is designed with the sporty driver in mind.
Its light but robust bucket design offers optimum side support and comfort. Overall the sport seat is
even lighter than the standard seat. The backrest can be folded forwards and has an easy entry function.
The seat can be set to two different heights using a perforated plate. It also features seat heating and
a side airbag.

Original BMW tail light facelift measures retrofit
The new LCI measures have been available for the E92/E93 since April 2010. A range of detail
modifications will make the design of these cars even more striking. The tail lights have undergone a
major redesign and change in technology as part of the package of LCI measures, and offer an option
for converting vehicles built before 03/2010. As well as the modified appearance of the tail lights, their
technology has also been changed.
New: LED technology in the indicators and brake light. This enables faster response behaviour.
Important: The tail lights retrofit is only available for vehicles built after 03/2007.

The cassette holding the manual sun blind is mounted on the rear window shelf. The black fabric provides excellent protection from sunlight and reflection from snow, without adversely affecting visibility.

DVD system tablet
The DVD system tablet is a full-value rear-seat entertainment system in the lower-end price bracket.
The system comprises 2 portable screens (1 screen with integrated DVD player) and 2 car mounts.
The mounts are secured to the headrest spars and remain in the car. (Not available for new cars and
for USA/Canada)

iPod interface
The USB/iPod interface enables all Apple iPods with dock connector and all Apple iPhones to be
connected to the car’s on-board electrical system. The music stored on the iPod is played by the
audio system and the iPod is also charged at the same time. By selecting genres, artists, albums or
playlists, it is possible to access your entire iPod music collection at any time. As well as these devices,
USB sticks or other suitable MP3 players can also be connected using the USB/iPod interface and
the audio files stored on them played back. Operation is directly on the radio or via the multi-function
steering wheel. All lists, tracks or artists are shown on radio display.

The outdoor car cover is heat, water and dirtresistant. The car cover protects the bodywork from

Outdoor car cover
The outdoor car cover is heat, water and dirt-resistant. The car cover protects the bodywork from scratches and from other dirt (e.g. bird droppings, pollen, resin and salt water). The car cover is compact when
stowed and is made from ultra-light polyester material with PU coating. The cover is directly attached to
the pouch and can thus be laid out easily over the car, quickly folded back together again and stowed
away in the pouch. It also features theft protection.

Universal protective rear cover
The rear seat cover protects the rear seat and the door side trims from dirt and moisture when you
carry pets or goods in the car. The cover can be split to enable you to carry both pets and passengers.
Openings in the protective rear cover provide easy access to the seat belts and belt buckles.

To offer BMW drivers even more safety and assistance when driving, the reversing camera (Rear View)
and front side-view camera (Side View) products have been developed further and supplemented by
2 exterior mirror cameras (Top View). Drivers are assisted by up to 4 cameras. Obstacles are displayed in
the control display at blind junctions, when reversing or by cameras in the exterior mirrors. Side barriers
and kerbstones are picked up by the cameras. The pictures from the cameras are a great help when
parking.

Backrest bag
The backrest bag is designed to fit precisely on the rear of the driver’s or front passenger’s seat. All
types of objects such as magazines, snacks PDA’s, books, toys and drinks bottles can be kept in the
various storage compartments to ensure that they are not left strewn around the car but can be tidied
up easily and practically. The bag also protects the backrest from dirt. The bag will blend harmoniously
into the BMW interior with its discrete colour with accents such as reflective piping, orange accessories

Expanding the source switching of the BMW radio makes it possible to switch between 2 additional
entertainment sources (e.g. Advanced DVD system, DVB-T set-top box) within the AUX module. Audio
output of the integrated entertainment sources takes place via the car’s loudspeakers, video output is
via the on-board monitor (subject to compliance with statutory conditions such as only when the car is
at a standstill). Volume and tone settings are made using the radio, the source itself is operated using
the IR remote control.

The aerodyanmics package for the X5 (E70) consists of add-on parts for the front and rear aprons as well

Easy-fit snow chain
The BWM easy-fit snow chain is a self-attaching snow chain system. Following simple basic assembly,
the easy-fit snow chain is pulled correctly onto the tyres by driving over it. Further stopping, retightening
or adjustment of the snow chain is no longer required. Thanks to the special chain running mesh, there is
no need to untangle the snow chain before fitting. The snow chain has been developed especially for the
tyre requirements of the E70 and E71.

This finisher offers an 8-cylinder look exhaust pipe finisher for the X5 6-cylinder cars (E70). The highgloss,

Chrome tailpipe extension for 6-cylinders with an 8-cylinder look
This extension trim is offered for X6 6-cylinder cars and gives them a tailpipe extension in the 8-cylinder
look. The high-gloss chrome-plated stainless steel extension is already welded onto the connecting
pipe and can be secured onto the existing exhaust system using a gripper clamp. The exhaust system
must first be cut to accommodate the new tailpipe extension. The rear apron also needs to be cut out
around the tailpipe extension. This cut-out is concealed with a plastic finisher which must be painted in
the car’s colour.

Rubber floor mats
The BMW rubber floor mats for the X5 (E70) and X6 (E71) protect the footwell trims from dirt and wear.
Thanks to the raised edges, which form a trough, the footwell is protected from dirt in extreme weather
conditions. The rubber mats are available for the front, rear and, for the X5, for the third row of seats.
The rubber mats are also available in the “Classic” design. They create a harmonious match with the
car’s design and accentuate its sporty character. For identification as a BMW floor mat, the logo is highlighted with a high/low effect.

DVD system tablet

USB/Audio interface retrofit kit
As a further development of the BMW iPod interface, the USB/audio interface now enables not only
Apple iPods but also suitable USB sticks and MP3 players to be connected to the car, and the tracks
or audio books stored on them can be played back through the car’s loudspeakers. Common formats
can be played back, e.g. MP3, WMA or WAV as well as M3U playlists. The system is easy to operate
in the familiar way using the input elements of the car, iDrive or the multi-function steering wheel. It is
possible to access the stored audio tracks directly via a playlist as well as searching by genre, artist,
album or track. All information is displayed clearly on the radio display or on-board monitor
(see illustration).

BMW Bluetooth Headset – Limited Edition
A complete hands-free kit for mobile telephones in the car. The headset can be worn on the left or right
ear and is also suitable for spectacle-wearers. Number are dialled by saying the name of the person you
want to call (if the mobile phone supports this function) or via the telephone‘s conventional mechanism.
Calls are accepted and disconnected, and the volume controlled, by pressing a button on the headset.
The headset automatically adjusts the volume to the surrounding noise level and the battery charge
time offers up to 5 hours of talk time or 7 days in standby mode.
