BACK ON - Harley Street Skin Clinic
Back on t rack 2015 Back on t rack 2015 How did Back on Track come about? The Harley Street Skin Clinic have been quietly working with injured servicemen and women for sometime now, particularly in the field of scar tissue reduction thus enabling the patient to regain confidence to face the world again. They have had some remarkable results and wanted to raise awareness, which is when the ‘Back on Track’ project was born Back on t rack 2015 4 Back on Track 2014 6 Back on Track 2015 7 Timetable 8 Back on Track 2015 9 Sponsors 10 Want to take part? 11 History of the clinic Back on t r ac k 2014 What was the result? On Sunday 5th October 2014 at Daytona Sandown Park, The Harley Street Skin Clinic organised and sponsored the event- Back on Track, where celebrities and injured soldiers went head-to-head in a fun-filled day of go-karting races to raise money. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and every body was in high spirits. Once all the celebrities and soldiers had arrived, were briefed and got into their racing gear, they headed down to the track anxious for the race to begin. We had Henry Beaudette, Ben Duncan and Fia Tarrant commentating... they did a great job! They kept the crowd lively and interviewed the drivers in the pits which let everybody know what was happening ‘behind the scenes’. Miss England showed up wearing her crown and impressed us with her driving skills and Emma Cattell was also there taking photographs! Lizzie Cundy, Zoe Birkett, Michelle Dewberry and Kim Tiddy also came along looking fabulous (even with helmet hair). Shane Ritchie arrived with his family and even had his own racing suit! Pro or what!? And we are certainly not forgetting Johnson Beharry VC who came along with his family and, by the way has an adorable son! (mini Beharry). Phil Turner and Nichola Duffet gave it their best around the track and while the lovely Ingrid Tarrant was racing, her daughter Fia (commentator) had to rush home to rescue their goat which had escaped from its pen! The story of ‘the run-away goat’ became an on-going joke throughout the day. The day was a success with the aim to raise money and awareness for the project to help injured soldiers get their lives back on track, because even heroes get hurt. So, does it sound like your kind of thing? History of The Harley Street Skin Clinic If you are looking for a Harley Street clinic with a difference, check out The Harley Street Skin Clinic. For a start, it is unlike any other cosmetic clinic around.because it is filled with hand-chosen antique furniture and furnishings along with the deliberately mismatched china teacups which are the passion of Lesley Reynolds, co-founder along with her husband, Dr. Aamer Khan. Scented candles and fresh flowers abound and the atmosphere is reminiscent of an English drawingroom, rather than a fully-equipped medical facility. “All our clients, including celebrities, love the fact that it does not look like a science lab,, so they can just sit back, have a cup of tea...and even a biscuit....and relax. Clearly they trust our expertise too,” says Lesley “We are very protective of all our clients. They trust us and know that anything which is said in the Clinic...stays in the Clinic!” Renowned for their antiageing programme and pioneering minimally-invasive surgical procedures, the Harley Street Skin Clinic is on speed-dial for globally-famous celebrities who trust their finely-tuned aesthetic eye and total discretion. Many top names who profess to have good genes and to drinking the required litres of water each day, rely on Lesley and Dr.Khan and their team to keep their skin in tiptop condition. There is a huge range of treatments available too. Dr. Khan is particularly famed for his delicate touch with muscle-relaxing injections and fillers... prefering to produce a refreshed and younger-looking face rather than Hollywood Frozen look! And if face lifting is required there are several options from the one-stitch Soft Sutures (minimally invasive and very little downtime) to Viora Reaction (non-invasive and no downtime) which is perfect for lifting the jawline. But if a full face-lift is required then that can be arranged too... with a top plastic surgeon. Bodywise they are the best. Take your choice from Bodytite, which is minimally-invasive and which removes stubborn fat AND tightens and firms loose skin; Fractora Firm (great for bingo wings); Tummy Tucks and Breast Implants and Reductions. Fat can also be taken from one part of your body and used to plump up other areas such as breasts or bottom for a natural lift that is, literally, your own! Lesley Reynolds and Dr. Khan have been at the forefront of anti-ageing innovation for several years and they are constantly testing new techniques and treatments to help hold back the years.
