SENIOR STRENGTH TRAINING
This class is just for seniors who would like to participate in an
entry level weight bearing and muscle strengthening
exercise. Our instructor will guide you through a warm-up,
stretching, and then on to strength training and a
cardiovascular component.
STRETCH AND STRENGTH
A stretching and toning class to work on improving flexibility,
balance, coordination, and agility. It is designed to be a full
body work-out, and helps to tone your muscles as opposed to
gaining muscle mass.
STROLLER FITNESS
Stroller Fitness offers you and your baby an hour stroller
fitness workout. During a safe and interactive stroller fitness
class, parents use strollers, resistance training and body
weight to achieve muscular strength and cardiovascular
fitness. Come enjoy this great class that unites parents and
children with workouts.
TABATA
Tabata will use a tabata interval training formula with an
emphasis on strength training. The strength tabata consists
of using barbells and plates alternated with cardio tabata
exercises. This HIIT (high intensity interval training) method
is scientifically proven to torch the calories and breakthrough
fitness plateaus.
TOTAL BODY EXPRESS
We will use dumbbells, body bars, and exercise balls. Come
to tighten and tone your body twice a week to sculpt the body
you desire.
PIYO
Who says you have to jump, grunt, strain, and punish your
body to get amazing results from your workout? PiYo
combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of
Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga.
And, we crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, lowimpact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and
incredibly defined.
YOGA FITNESS
Hatha Yoga is the ancient technique of stretching with
deep breathing to tone and shape joints and muscles. It
is a total-body workout. While the figure altering
properties are unmistakable, the greatest benefits occur
inside. Mats provided. Yoga classes include:
? DAILY BE PRACTICE - Yoga can be as much or as
little as you want it to
be. For some it is purely a
physical pursuit, keeping the body toned, strong and
flexible. For
others, yoga becomes more of a
mindset and a way of living. We offer an active yoga
class to help bring balance to your day.
? GENTLE YOGA - Beginning level Yoga class
designed to introduce Hatha Yoga. Basic postures that
include stretching, moving and breathing will help build
strength, flexibility and balance.
? HOT YOGA - Step into our hot studio to sweat, detox
and flow. The sequencing of this class incorporates core
work to build heat within the body as well as outside the
body. Hot Yoga teaches you to ground yourself in each
pose, stimulating your mind and restoring your body.
? MOM AND TODDLER STRETCH - Perfect for mom
and mobile baby/toddler! Try yoga postures and
stretches that include your child, games, and time to
connect with other moms. Toddlers are unpredictable
so the flow of the class is based on our children. A great
class for second-time expectant moms and younger
siblings are welcome too.
? POWER FLOW YOGA - This class creatively links
poses together to keep you moving and breathing
throughout the hour. It will keep you challenged as you
build strength, stamina, and flexibility. Come enjoy the
music, the energy, and the flow!
? SUNRISE YOGA - Awaken your senses and start the
day with sun salutations and a flowing series of dynamic
asanas (postures). This invigorating Sunrise Vinyasa
class will start your day on the right note! Modifications
in poses for different levels.
WALKING LIGHT
Come and enjoy this walking class that will keep you on
your toes. Walking on the indoor track, you will be
guided in health information on the benefits or walking,
stretches and other challenges.
ZUMBA FITNESS
ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective
fitness system. The routines feature aerobic/fitness
interval training with a combination of fast/slow rhythms
that tone and sculpt the body.
? ZUMBA MIX- The routines feature aerobic/fitness
interval training with a combination of fast and slow
rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. ZUMBA utilizes
the principals of fitness interval training and resistance
training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total
body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements
with easy to follow dance steps, and includes 15 minutes
of core work at the end of each class.
