“Our mission is to inspire self-esteem and a sense of empowerment
in every student who enters our dojo”
Central Valley Karate Institute
Class Schedule:
Beginner/Intermediate: $60
Mon., Wed. & Thurs. 5-6 pm
Advanced: $60 Mon. & Wed 6-7pm
& Thursdays 6-7:30 pm
Through karate, a student will develop and learn physical fitness, mental discipline and self-defense. The
physical conditioning and concentration leads students to self-confidence, and a special knowledge of
being able to defend oneself. We offer a fun and safe environment where children and adults can learn
the art of Shotokan Karate. Shotokan Karate is accessible to all ages and every level of physical ability.
While training, our students will get fit, improve their awareness, relieve stress and become more confident and empowered. We have general classes for all ages.
*Tigers Cubs/Tiny Tigers classes: These students are introduced to martial arts within our
very playful and positive curriculum designed for young children. Must enroll with instructor.
*Tiger Cubs: $50 (5-7 yrs. old)
Come by anytime, we hope that you will become part of our ‘karate family’!
Mon. & Wed. 4-5 pm
*Tiny Tigers: (3-4 yrs. old)

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Self defense, Exercise and Discipline
Aikido is a Japanese Martial Art developed by Morihei Ueshiba. This is
an art of physical systems and constant movement which involves
throws and joint locks that are derived from Jiu-Jitsu and other Kenjutsu techniques. Aikido focuses not on punching or kicking opponents,
but on using their opponents energy to gain control of them or to throw
them away from you. Sensei Steven Macillas has been instructing different types of Martial Arts since 1980.
Classes are held at the Rec. Hall located in Pacheco Park, 903
Pacheco Blvd.
