Artists at the Cabin Angels in the Garden upcoming events Sunday, June 1, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., LC An art sale benefiting the Innsbrook Historical Society will showcase the work of Innsbrook artists. An artist will be on hand painting a likeness of the cabin as the sale is going on and there will be bluegrass music by Blue Strings. Payment forms accepted are cash and checks. One of the artists whose work will be available is Bob Goulding, who has lived in Innsbrook for 26 years. Bob is a wood turner who makes bowls from the native woods of Missouri, including this bowl pictured at right, which he made from the walnut trees in the grove surrounding the Log Cabin. Questions? Our show is fully funded by donations from our property owners, corporate vendors and local advertisers. Last year, our fundraising campaign met our goal of $110,000 - this amounts to the largest private fireworks display in the state. If you love the show as much as we do, please support the fireworks with a donation. $10, $50, $500... every dollar counts. Photo by Jennifer Serniak -4- Fishing Rules and Regulations Innsbrook News Alpine Lake has a protected slot length limit on bass of 12” to 18”, which means you can keep bass under 12” or over 18”, with a daily limit of five. Beach Etiquette All other lakes: release bass between 12” and 16”. Crappie 10” or longer and bluegill and catfish of any size can be kept (including those from Alpine Lake) with a daily limit of 10 crappie. Release all paddlefish caught. NO trotlines, bank lines and jug fishing allowed. Do not fish around swimming areas and beaches. IBK property owner Jim Heizer’s son reeled in this prize catch this Ext. 193. month on Lake Alpine! NO BOATS or FISHING allowed in the swimming area, including between the beach and floating dock. DO NOT TIE UP YOUR BOATS to the swimming/floating docks. This is dangerous for swimmers. The swimming/floating docks are for swimmers to enjoy. NO CHAIRS OR COOLERS ON THE DOCKS, PLEASE. NO DIVING from the floating docks. Those who are not toilet-trained must wear SWIM DIAPERS. Children in FLOTATION DEVICES should be supervised by an adult. AGES 15 & UNDER should be supervised by an adult. NO LITTERING, including cigarette butts. NO PETS permitted in the beach area. MUSIC should be for your listening pleasure only. NO LARGE GROUPS, please. NO CAMPFIRES (hibachi grills work great). BOATS in common areas are not common property. Please respect the boats’ owners and do not use private boats. At the Memorial Day Party, you’ll receive a keepsake anniversary cup that you’ll not only use that day, but can reuse again and again all summer long and for years to come. For everything else you use that weekend and every day, please keep in mind Innsbrook’s single stream recycling system and what materials can and cannot be placed into the recycling bins.
